Beautiful must be a smithtown resident to park at bottom if not you must park up hill still so beautiful and clean water
Very beautiful and quiet place when I visited during spring. Beautiful view of the sea.
Awesome spot for fishing and hanging out with the family! Caught a ton of porgy's and fluke in a short amount of time
Absolutely beautiful hike overlooking the water. We had so much fun exploring the trails with our dog.
This is one of my favorite places to relax, walk, take photos, etc... has an amazing view and looks different every time, its very safe, people are polite, sunsets from here look stunning, has hiking trails that lead you to Sunken Meadow, you can see Short Island very close on the other side. Lots of nature. Perfect to meditate. Perfect place for Fishing.
Love the views. Well marked and maintained trails. One can chose to hike the beach or wooded trails.
Anytime I pull in here and the entrance light is “green” but it’s dark out approx 9-11pm I instantly have a cop pulling me over asking why I’m in here after the dark. The light is green, meaning it’s open. I just want to sit in my car, have a quiet moment, take a picture of the water and the moon… if no one should be in here at that time then move the cone to the entrance and make the light red… if it is indeed open, then someone should inform the police.
Have to keep coming back. It's amazing. The sunset, the trails, the whole experience is peaceful and beautiful.
This is one of my favorite spots! Serene, quiet, beauuuuuutiful views, love the trails. I recommend wearing pants if you're hiking keeps the ticks off... Highly recommended and best kept secret!
I was looking for an off road eSkate trail, but this didn't turn out to be that. It is really nice, however.
