My husband and I have fallen in love with this little RV park off one of the sounds. We are truck drivers, so I called around to find a place that would let us park our tractor and plug up. We got waterfront spot 54, $135 a day. There is a picnic table, grill, tiki table and beach chairs all right out front. We spent 2 days on our 34 hour reset fishing and swimming. There is a great food truck open for breakfast and lunch at the rv park. Winne Dixie is about 1 mile away. There is a shopping center a little under a mile with some restaurants as well. Everyone was extremely nice and the grounds were always being taken are of. While we were there showers 3-5 were down and getting worked on. Showers 1-2 are at the office, they were extremely clean. We could of even did our laundry.
We have came here last year and loved it so much, we came again this year. The view is gorgeous especially the sunset, service was great, and the room exceeded expectations. Very laid back atmosphere. Overall, this is the best RV park we have been to, and will be coming back again next year.Rooms: 5/5
Whew!!!! Kings Kamp has no sympathy for you if you have an issue and need to cancel a reservation. It's in black and white to cancel though. You MUST do it 31 days in advance and there's no wiggle room. I did it 24 days in advance but they are going to keep my $656.00, I HOPE Y'ALL CHOKE ON IT. I'll NEVER stay at Kings Kamp EVER! In fact I'll somehow cause Kings Kamp $600 worth of problems however I can. So beware if you make a reservation and your RV bends it's axles and the repair shops cant fix it in time. They'll keep your $656.00 and add insult to injury. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt they'll rent the space I was going to be in, so they double dip on the rent. Should be a law against this policy. Thieves I say, thieves! PS lol You are a thief and you think the law is on your side. lololol I bet this horrible review along with many other negative reviews is costing you money as we speak! My hope is that people will think twice before making a reservation with your criminal outfit. People ignore negative reviews because they think the reviewer probably did something or deserves the treatment they got....untill like me it happens to them. THEN as I understand now, y'all are vultures praying upon peoples kindness and willingness to believe a business is fair. Nope not Kings Kamp. Y'all are thieves. Tell me you won't rent my reserved and PAID FOR rv site. Of course you are. Thats double dipping. If you do rent it, will you refund my money? NO you won't. You hide behind losing revenue because you couldn't rent the site. In fact you'll double your revenue because you'll charge the people renting the site that I have paid for. Thieves y'all are.
This place is a true gem. The location is beautiful and extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping and boating. It is a really nice community with a lovely marina. The real treasure here though are the ladies in the office. Ruth, Margaret and Martha are seriously wonderful. They always work hard to make you happy and you can tell they love what they do and they care about you. Could not recommend this place more. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
I stayed in one of the hotel rooms. It was super cute! Can tell it's been updated recently. The room had everything I needed: mini fridge, 5 cup coffee pot, microwave, hair dryer and even a dish rack for those staying long term. The bed was so comfortable! I didn't want to get up The staff is super friendly and very helpful. 10 outta 10 would stay here again Noteworthy details: I can't talk enough about the bed. It's fantastic!
Don't stay here. The photos don't match the park. Their cancelation policy is preditory in nature and they will have no remorse about keeping your money. They bit me, they'll bite you if they get a chance. You've been warned.Rooms: 1/5
Wasn't the best experience. Luckily it was only a 1 night stay. They double booked our room, so my husband walked in on another guest. The refused to just cancel our reservation, but we did get an upgraded room. The room was clean but did smell like old cigarettes. The bed was comfortable, so at least we got a good night's sleep. We had our own pillows
I was very late in booking a reservation for January, and so I called and spoke to Ruth. She told me they were full, but had a cancellation, and could take me for three nights. The three nights turned into nine days of nice accommodation for myself and my brother. The staff went above and beyond normal standards to help assist me, in which they did! I am truly grateful for their service. Their property is very nice with a small private beach overlooking the water. Everything you need is within a few miles of their location including excellent restaurants, grocery stores, gasoline, and attractions. I will be back to visit them again!
Don’t ever come here terrible staff had my boat slip reserved for a month took the boat out for a couple days for a repair and came back to a boat in my slip and they had rented my slip to someone else and I couldn’t get my slip back. They tend to double rent Rv slips and boat slips as well.
$60 per day…for a tent site. I understand it’s the keys but it’s still insane. What made it a tougher pill to swallow - the concrete platform that is the only area you can pitch your tent in between humming RVs tears up tent fabric. Not a tree to string a hammock. Positives - nice bay side chill area and decent bathroom facility.
