The last time I came here, it was roughly 10 years ago and I feel the place has just gone downhill. The chairs at the high tables are flimsy - some sink when you sit on them. Water is served in really old Smirnoff glasses like a dive bar. The presentation of the food is really poor. I asked for Fish Tocos with the cilantro on the side with some sushi rolls. The cilantro didn't come at all and the fish Tocos were a bit soggy and had too much sauce. I asked if they can provide the cilantro and what i received was completely yellow. I wouldn't recommend this place anymore.
My girlfriend and i were attending her friends birthday gathering. The food was incredible!! Portions are very good and match the price you pay. Cynthia which was our bartender made our night. shes the epidomy of GENUINE customer service and kindness. all the staff are friendly and helpful. Music started at 11 and the DJBlaine killed it. all the chairs were removed and the place goes from posh to KINKY as the name says All in all great night great place !
I really enjoyed going here tonight. My friend and I ordered 4 different items from the happy hour appetizer menu. California rolls, potato skins, pulled pork poutine and some kind of veggie rice wrap roll. They were all very well presented and tasty. The waitress was super helpful, really funny and friendly. I look forward to going back.
I was a little disappointed in this place considering that they specialized in sushi. I got a Groupon deal for two cocktails, an appetizer and two Maki rolls. The Groupon made it worth it, but I would not go back. The drinks were of great quality, the service was very nice and the decor was good, it was just the sushi that was disappointing. I had high expectations because online it looked like they specialized a bit in it but the ones we got were not too great. The duck sushi had dry duck and both the duck sushi and kraken had soggy bland rice. I don't know if my expectations were too high, but they honestly did taste like, no offense, "white people Asian". Without the Groupon, the food would have been far too expensive for their quality. The appetizer was pretty good though
Always a great time. They have great food, staff, drinks and events. There's always something great going on over there and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming. This is a great place to go to throughout the week not just the weekends. See for yourself and have a great time.
It has been a few years since I’ve been so I wasn’t sure what to expect . We had sushi and was happy to see it was also half price wine and bottles for $20. The sushi was fantastic ! Service and ambiance was great. Will definitely go back and hopefully on a weekend to check out the music.
The staff was friendly when they payed attention to you and weren’t flirting with each other. Food was average, I had higher expectations for a restaurant with such and interesting menu. Drinks lacked alcohol as well. Interesting decorations and artwork. Disappointed
Slow service, over-priced side salad for $13, and very poor sushi quality. Not to mention they ran out of sushi rice...

Wow!!! We tired Kinki’s out with a very worthwhile groupon. You get a bowl edamame to start, then comes a large plank with salad, steak, potatoe wedges, and 8 tasty inferno sushi rolls. Also bbq sauce and wedges sauce. And an entire bottle of wine to boot, WOW! It was plentiful and amazingly delicious. The wine we chose was a red, mix of merlot and malbec, Astica from Argentia. It’s full-bodied and smooth with hints of blackberry which worked very well with the steak. The edamame starter was excellent and prepared perfectly with roasted sesame seeds drizzled on top, we’ve never had such good edamame. The salad served was fresh and delicious. I asked for a medium cooked steak and it was grilled to perfection. It was exquisitley tender and tasty melt in your mouth, just enough pink inside and the seasoning on it was not overbearing, just enough to enhance the flavour of the steak. Compliments and kudos to the chef. The potatoe wedges were also perfection, gorgeously crispy, with an astounding crunch and quite tasty. We were not aware that the sushi rolls were spicy until my wife tried one and wasnt able to eat anymore of them because she cannot ‘handle the heat’. The server was so accommodating, she offered us 8 california rolls on top of what we had at no extra charge, unbelievable! I was floored. The sushi was amazing as well and very fresh Thank you for such a great experience. The idea of combining sushi and steak was very foreign to me, interestingly it was good but I would not repeat it, ultimately I feel steak and sushi to not go well together as they are at different extremes of the culinary world, in my opinion. The only thing I’m upset about is I didn’t give a bigger tip, sorry , I’ll make it up next time, I promise. And there will definitely will be a next time.
