Kitsap Regional Library

Always very helpful. I enjoy going to all the libraries that are part of the Kitsap library system. Very organized website best I've ever used.

A really nice library, with tons of books including an entire floor just for kids and a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere in which to read them, helpful and friendly librarians, quick and efficient checkout, lots of ancillary services like free WiFi, public computers, printers, meeting rooms you can reserve, a variety of seating options comfy chairs, big tables, individual carrels, etc. Book selection is pretty good, including a small but decent selection of books in foreign languages and not just Spanish—they also have books in Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc. Outside the library there are a number of wonderful outdoor spaces, including a Japanese style garden with a tiny bridge and haiku engraved on stones, and an area of paths meandering through tall evergreens. If you'd also like to buy books, the BI library constantly has library book sales, which feature a huge range of books at amazingly good prices. There's both an ever-present set of shelves on both floors of the library with books for sale—you just choose the books you want, and drop the money into a little box—and a several-times-monthly larger book sale, which takes over several rooms of the library.

Very friendly staff members and efficient checkout of books! A whole floor of kids book. One of my favorite places on island. Thanks for the community and staff members who put together such a great program!

I love our Bainbridge Is Library!

The Kitsap regional library in general is great. Bainbridge is my home library. It is the most wonderful place. Having a bad day. Go to the library. I put a lot of books on hold as well as I check out ebooks. The staff is great. Ask if you get lost in finding a book. The book sales are also fun with a treasure trove of books downstairs.
