This morning my daughter had appointment. The service the dentist provided was horrible. She treated my daughter as if she was a dog. The dentist was throwing things on the counter. She had no patience. She was pulling hard on my daughters mouth. She was not friendly at all. This dentistry needs more friendly employees this is not the type of service a child needs to receive.
It was ok years ago like 4, but it has gotten worse after the pandemic. They constantly push services on you. I came a couple of times for a simple cleaning. I came in at 9 a.m., and I didn't leave until 11:30 am. It's ridiculous. My son doesn't now, nor has he ever had any cavities, yet it took so long. The dentist this time said his teeth look really good, but last time pushed for a braces consult. ‍ I like that it's convenient to where I live, but not if it's going to take almost 2 hours to clean teeth.
I have had the most unprofessional experience at this place and that's being extremely nice about it! I would rate this place a zero if given the option. I made a 10 am appointment for my 5 year old son on a Friday 6/21/19 arrived at exactly 10 am to a full house which wasn't alarming to me because my thoughts was if they allowed me to make the appointment they can accommodate the amount of people here waiting to be seen. I was wrong! I wasn't called to the back until 11:02 to be exact, this was very patient of me knowing several people had been waiting just as long or longer from the complaints I overheard from patrons complaining at the front desk. When my son was called the young lady called two other children as well so she could take the weight and take them back all at once. In the process of waiting for everyone to gather she was confronted by another parent inquiring about when she would be seen because she had been waiting over an hour! Instead of the young lady appeasing the situation she decided to go back and forth with the parent! Huge mistake in my book! I finally interjected and ask where the manager was because the back and forth looked unprofessional, the young lady responded that she was coming, however she never came out before we were escorted to the back. After we were taken to the back we were serviced about 10 minutes after very reasonable with x-ray's and a cleaning then we had to wait for the dentist to do the the check out, and that's where I had my last straw! there were five others waiting as well and I think all the dentist went to lunch because we all sat for 30 minutes without being seen. Finally the manager comes to the back after another parent goes to get her and she walks over to someone sitting at a desk in the back and ask whats going on. At that point it was 11:58 and I had no intentions on spending another minute in this place! So I got up with my son to leave and the manager asked me did I want to reschedule to see the dentist like the other parent was doing and I responded "not really" thinking she would inquire about why I didn't want to reschedule but she didn't she just said ok. Then the lady at the front desk asked me as well did I want to schedule my next appointment and I said I'm not coming back because I waited 2 hours and my son hasn't even been seen by a dentist and she cut me off and said ok I understand! Which I took it as she didn't care and customer service is not a priority! In addition as I sat in the back with nothing but time to look around I noticed the trash cans were full the floor was dirty and the mouse traps were visible! This place needs some work on time management, scheduling and customer service!
Staff is extremely rude ! Ortho department never answers the phone. When I finally got in touch with someone they rushed me off the phone and told me to call ortho despite me telling them nobody is answering the phone. The response was “ well you got to call them”. I really don’t know if people don’t like their job or what but if you are going to be that nasty PLEASE STAY HOME OR GET IN A FIRLD WHERE YOU DOMT HAVE TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE.
the girls at the Front desk are very rude, i called to schedule an appointment for my children. She asked if they’ve been there before i told her yes, she told me hold on and transferred me to a different department then hung up. Never answered after i called back 5 times.
I had the most amazing experience today at Pine Dentistry. I walked into the front desk workers smiling and greeted me. The nurses and doctor was pleasant. I really appreciated the wonderful service. Thank you for making a difference!!!
I have been coming here since October 2009. Back then the service was AMAZING. Somewhere around 2017/2018 their service went downhill. I still stuck beside them even though I shouldn’t have. I had a situation once where I had checked in, turned in my paperwork, only for them to call my cellphone while I was still in the waiting area to tell me “your appointment was canceled due to not enough doctors available” about 35 minutes after my appointment time like I hadn’t already been waiting. I even told the guy “I’m literally looking at you right now” The final straw was on 1/10 my son had an emergency appointment because his filling came out. They neglected to tell me that the doctor who initially did the filling would have to do it again or my insurance wouldn’t cover it, so since she wasn’t there that day it the appointment had to be rescheduled to today 1/21. I call to get the correct time it was either 1 or 1:30 and what do you know?!? The appointment was never scheduled on their calendar. But oh I can wait until 2/4 which is their next appointment date for their 6 month cleaning. His filling came out 1/7, you can see the hole in his tooth… please tell me why I would wait another 2 weeks when he’s already in pain now. This place is a disaster. Very ghetto 0/10 would NOT recommend to anyone.
they never have NO APPOINTMENTS available like if you miss your braces retightening appointment you have to wait a whole 2 months ! like that’s so dumb they need more ortho people ! don’t let them do your braces
First they would allow me to change my insurance which ended up costing me $180 I wasn’t planning on paying. The woman who helped me was very unprofessional and could not provide clarity on the matter. One month later I receive a letter saying I owed them for service. Services wouldn’t have been rendered if I didn’t pay it in office. I’ve called multiple times and a manager in never available or they give me the run around. Once again staff answering the phone has no phone etiquette, completely not helpful or solution focused. Do not go here. The dentistry team is amazing and handled my kids with care. If it wasn’t for the administration side we would have zero problems with this business.
I love this dentist office. My daughter has been coming here since she was 4 and they have always been nice.
