I am very grateful to Dr. Desai. Not only did he diagnose my Zenker's Diverticulum - which other GI doctors missed - but he also recommended UCLA's Dr. Dinesh Chhetri to perform the necessary surgery. My symptoms went away immediately after the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Desai!
Dr Desai was very professional, confident and knows his responsibility to his patient ,he is very articulate about the procedures he performed on me , I highly recommend him , I am a Doctor of Chiropractic , have total trust in Dr Desai
While he answered some of my questions, I found his manner abrupt and some of explanations lacking. Because I was a new patient, I was billed $307 - this for a 15 minute consultation during which time I was not even physically examined. I have made arrangements to see a new gastroenterologist.
If I could give Dr Desai a Five star plus I would. I haven’t meet a doctor who not only cares for me and his patients but for his fellow man the indigent and numerous medical students. It’s a blessing to have him as my Doctor. His staff does a great job considering how busy they are. He’s a great doctor and much in demand. If you can’t get in immediately be patient. When you’re that good, everyone wants you. It’s worth the wait. Thanks Dr Desai. God bless
I normally don't write reviews but Dr. Desai is an amazing doctor! He is so warm and professional. He took his time and answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all. You can tell that he really cares about his patients.The front office staff is so friendly and great at getting me scheduled quickly for my follow ups. They even called me the day before to remind me of my appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Desai and his office!
I highly recommend Dr. Desai! He is a very knowledgeable doctor who took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. He made sure I felt comfortable during my exam and explained the reasons for further testing and follow ups. The office staff was very friendly and quick to rely any test results. I feel comfortable in his care and will continue to recommend! It is usually not a good thing to have to see the doctor, but Dr. Desai and his staff made the whole thing a breeze. Thank you!
Dr. Desai is an incredible doctor. He is pleasant, knowledgeable, compassionate and very professional. His staff is so friendly and helpful. He listens very carefully to what you have to say and gives you the time and attention you need. I felt very confident in his care. He had to refer me out for surgery and gave me a recommendation to another incredible doctor. My visit with him didn't end there though. He stayed in contact with the surgeon the entire time to make sure I had the best care possible. I would highly recommend him. You won't be disappointed!
I’ve been a patient of Dr Desai for several years. He’s very knowledgeable and professional. He takes the time to answer my questions and to be sure I understand. He really shows he cares. His staff is very efficient and always very helpful. My appointments are always on time. They take all the present protocols seriously and make me feel completely comfortable.
If I could give a - rating I would. My mother had pancreatic cancer that he misdiagnosed as "grief, and are you sure you are just not grieving the loss of your husband" he blew her off and she had to beg for an in-person appointment. Horrible bedside manner and the narcissism was in full force. The new doctor got her diagnosed.... but she lived with unimaginable pain until then. Awful experience. Please do not go to him,
A really GOOD Dr. I have seen Dr Desai for a few different concerns over the years and he has always been knowledgeable and caring. He asks really good questions to understand what is going on comprehensively, and also takes the time to answer my questions. He also remembers the direct and indirect information related to my specific health and offers great insight on how these seemingly unrelated issues could be connected. He takes all my concerns seriously and is quick to follow up with tests and guidance. I do agree with some of the other reviews on the office staff, but I have to say that I saw an improvement in promptness during my last visit. Still some attitude adjustments could be made. Overall, it’s still worth it to see Dr Desai! I have and will continue to recommend him.
