KVAT Food City Distribution Center

I arrived around 1900 & was unloaded by 2030. Lumper 94$. I actually arrived 26 hours before my actual appointment time. They have vending, restrooms available & a place to sit. Staff is great. Plenty room to maneuver for backing. I don't think you can park overnight here, but Petro truck stop 8 miles north of here always has parking. Watch out for no verbal communication when they reject partial shipments.

Dry Van Checked in 10:15am appointment time 12pm I immediately parked in whatever dock was open went inside and handed paper work soon after that they started unloading immediately. Process was smooth and fast. 30 mins unloading time. Oh and there will be a lumper fee btw

I got assigned to a door in a lot designed for 48 ft trailers. Very dangerous to get dock/undock. I had to help two drivers undock and I could have used help docking. If you get stuck with a door in this lot, do not hesitate to ask another driver for help.

Checked in a day before my appointment on a Sunday , I was told to come back Monday for my appointment because they are short staffed on Sunday. Monday morning I was out in about 1.45 , not bad at all. They started receiving at 6 am for frozen , other sides was full of trucks at 5.30 when I pulled in. If you plan to spend the night at Love's, hurry up, it gets busy really fast. The rest area south of the receiver is huge , you can take your chances there.

When you get here they tell you how many stops you have. You may have 10 pellets for them but one building getting 3 the other 4 the other 3 and they all charge lumper separately. It was 3 hours on the first $156 second 2 hours $58 and third was free it took them 15 minutes.

Everybody was nice but they take entirely too long for unloading I was in a door for hours with my reefer running before they even started unloading me your gonna be here atleast 6hrs with a lumper fee good luck

My appt is 2300, checked in at 1630 got door right away and out at 1730, thanks Food City. Need lumper fee.

Very friendly. Appointed as for 11 pm I got at 1 pm. The told me to came at 5 after another guy to came at 3.. By 4:15 I was at the dock . ,,,, now I'm out. .. Very good . I can drive 3 to 4 h more and tomorrow finish the rest ..

Got here early and they let me in gave me a door. After 30 mins asked me to move to a different door that had trailer in it. Took them 45 mins to move trailer. Then it took them 3 more hours to unload. I was first in and others were leaving before me. Then they had the balls to put an out time 3 hours earlier on the bills.

Very nice company, apoiment 9am , empty 3pm , almost late for next pickup, lazy lumpers
