we’re currently at LaBares 10-23-21 and can’t enjoy ourselves because the DJ. the dancers couldn’t do their job because the DJ won’t shut the hell up! the DJ will stop the music to talk while the dancers were dancing, then they would stop dancing. some of the dancers would look up at the DJ and gestures to him why is he stopping the music while performing. He would then terribly mix the music. our whole bachelorette party was finding it hard to enjoy ourselves because he would kill the vibe so he could talk and no one could understand what he was saying! more music, more dancing, and less talking! please!

The guys were great put on a very nice show our waiter Chris was nice and hospitable. Unfortunately the place is very run down and could use some TLC. The restrooms were out of order with only 1 operational the chairs are old and had tears in them, the walls had paint scratched and peeling. I would love to go back for a visit but definitely needs some money invested in the establishment. I realize it's a strip club but ladies want to feel safe and comfortable whole having a great time.

This can be a super fun place for a night out. They have food, hookah, drinks and a variety of male dancers. There is usually cover and you should bring a stack of $1 to tip the dancers. They learn choreography so there are no poles inside like a female strip club. The privates are usually $30 a song and parking is free or like $6. You can be as close or distant from the entertainers as you want and they do allow couples for $30.

Went to relax and have some fun. They went up on entrance, some of the dancers are gone was informed because of the drama. The OG ones preform the same routines nothing new and some I don’t even know why they are still there if they barely show up. Then you have some dancers that even get sloppy drunk. The only good experience I had was my waiter. I wanted to get my friend a dance and my waiter sadly couldn’t confirm if a certain dancer was coming in that night since they hardly show up. Ladies save your money go somewhere else.

My mother and I set up a birthday party for my sister's 40th on April 3, 2021. While the dancers were amazing, and really good to the birthday girl, our waiter was the absolute worst. He charged drinks to my mother's card for himself, got too drunk to function, ignored our table so I couldn't even get water for the party, disappeared for long periods of time, and at the end of the night, he exploded on my mom over a tip dispute, grabbed her arm so hard she has bruises to hold her there, and demanded a 200 dollar tip from her. He then dragged my poor sister, the birthday girl, back to try to get her to sign my mother's bill and add the tip he wanted, which she wouldn't do because it wasn't her card. I added a tip for 100 on my own card so we could get our cards back and go home because he wouldn't give our cards back until he got a tip. That guy added another 100 in addition without my permission the following day. While I am disputing the charge with my bank, please watch your cards and make sure you keep track of your charges ladies, and if your waiter is too drunk to function ask for another one! They apparently take what they want regardless of what you signed for. He ruined my sister's 40th birthday.

I’ve been to La Bare a total of three times now in the last 2 years. The first two times were great, so when I planned my friend’s divorce party, it was a natural choice. 10 of us girls decided to get the package for $110 for our friend. When budgeting, we looked at the website and it said the entry fee was $10 per person. When I got there, they said they last my reservation so they set up tables instead of the booth that was in the package. We were fine with this since it was closer to the stage. Then they told us that the cover charge was $20 a person instead of $10. I told them that the website said $10 and they need to honor the price. They told us since they are operating as a restaurant now they had to charge $20 per person. I knew this is a lie because I had just been to a bar that now has to operate as a restaurant and now can no longer charge cover. We had driven an hour to be there so we ate the cost and decided to stay. During the set, there were long breaks between act. It seemed like the guys were tired and not into it. I suggest getting new, exciting talent. It’s all the same guys as always and most of the acts are just meh. At the end of the night, my friend had not received the 5x7 Card and the stage dance I paid for was never received. I pulled the manager to the side and told him what was going on. At first he was nice about it and offered to to cut the cost before running my card. Then a dancer came over and claimed he gave my friend a private dance instead of the stage dance which was a lie. Then a girl came up and said she gave the same dancer $60 to give her friend a private dance and he claimed that he never got it. I was charged the full $110 with the $20 entry fee. It’s not about the amount of money, it’s the principle about the deceit. I read on yelp that La Bare was in it only for the money. I didn’t want to believe that, but I guess they are. If you go, DONT bother with a packages, it’s a waste of time.

I can not say enough nice things about this place. The energy here is wonderful. Our server Jason was absolutely a doll and did a OUTSTANDING job. We came for a birthday party and had the time of our lives. First time at a male entertainment club and It was more then I could have expected from one. I think all of you gentleman are doing a beautiful job with providing the hottest and sexiest entertainment in Houston. Keep up all the fine work y'all are doing. I can not wait for the next birthday/girls night out. Y'all are so beautiful!

Love it! They make my birthdays and every other Occasion really fun ^.^ I just came back after about a year for my birthday and had an amazing night. The guys were amazing and our waiter was very sweet. The men here are fun but have a lot of respect for there female clients. I’ve met the owner once before and he’s very nice and professional. Horrible experience. Went there for my girlfriends bachelorette party the waitress didn’t know what he was doing we had to figure out the check for him he couldn’t figure anything out he was getting all of our drinks confused and messed up. I paid for a stage dance with one of the guys and it seem like none of the guys wanted to ever come and do it, it’s like they were staying with their own race it was very weird and in my opinion on fair.

We went for a bachelorette party for my friend on 10/24/2020. Our server provided us with a bottle service, he took my friend to the back, by herself, where he later reminded her of the due amount and basically said to tip him accordingly, which he got a $100 tip from her. However, he was no where near our table, we served ourselves after the first round, he didn’t come back to check on us, he seemed highly intoxicated for someone who was supposed to be working as a server. The bartender didn’t want to make a food order for my friend, he said no when she asked. Later as we were trying to leave our server had our debit cards with our ID and when I asked if I could have them back because we were leaving, he became upset and started to throw a tantrum around people. When my friend and I finally were able to get our cards back he basically guilt tripped us into giving a good tip because he said “just remember I’m a server, and we make a living off of tips. I provided a bottle service to you all.” Which I understand so when my friend tipped him $100 for that bottle service because she was the one hosting it how is still getting more tips from the rest of us okay? It’s rude, and unprofessional. You represent an establishment as a server, hostess, dancer etc. if this is the type of service people receive there is no reason to try and come back, unless you want them to run you up for their very expensive tip they make you pay them.
