Probably the most beautiful building in Scranton. I have only been to couple of court houses in the past when traveling around. I felt this one is special as it has a memorial outside. At first I didn't even know that it was a court house as it was astonishing.
When will they stop hiding behind the pandemic and let people have their second amendment rights. Not letting people get their out of state Carry Permits so they can be legal
I was a passerby, and was astonished by its architecture. I dug up and learned of its monumentally historical significance in labor laws, worldwide!
Ok so I was out in Scranton visiting Family. 11/04/2021. My experience wasn’t the best being from Florida. I accidentally ran a stop sign , got Interrogated on the side of the road because I’m a Hispanic in a nice car. All this cause I accidentally ran a stop sign. Not only did the officer “Vaughn” issue me a citation , but mailed my citation just for me to receive it after the date I had to respond to the citation. Lackawanna County definitely needs to be investigated on Illegal procedures conducted on its citizens.
The only reason that I am giving the courthouse this many stars is because I attended a candlelight vigil at the bust of Jason Miller. And it was awesome. It was in honor of one of the coolest people to have ever lived Michael Draper .
Came 2x to take pictures when visit downtown Scranton
Visiting Courthouse Square is always a good time.
Outstanding historical sculpture in center of this beautiful town. Has fountains, sitting chairs and surrounded by green. Pleasant place within campus.
I have been in the court numerous timesnot for my self ,but to help those in need .their system is so corrupt ,they let unfit parents keep their kids . They dont care if your innocent and with proof . They want money . And the ones that are to blame for get a slap on the wrist . Scranton needs a better justice system. Better judges. Their is alot of favoritism! They pick and choose .
Although Jim had jury duty, he was dismissed early on Monday.
