This park has beautiful views of the lake as well as a nice trail. If you like kayaking they have an excellent dock and kayak launch ramp. Restroom was clean. The grounds were well maintained. Kids would probably have more fun at other parks in the area.
Great place for a peaceful walk around a beautiful lake. Restrooms: Very clean
This park is literally so beautiful! This park is located at the back of the neighborhood with a parking lot in the front. It’s a really nice walking trail. There are also seats and tables located through the nature trail. There are restrooms as well. The nature is lovely to look at, and if you are ever in the area, I highly recommend coming here !!!!
It is an excellent place to walk and enjoy the wonderful view. It is a very exclusive and careful park in terms of the flora and fauna of that place. I have gone during the mornings and it is spectacular to walk around the lake.
Beautiful park, especially for kayaking thanks to the beautiful clear water! I love going to this park regularly and I think it would be better if they would ask the staff to enforce the separate purposes of the two docks. On the map it distinguishes that one is for kayaking and one is for fishing. I always see so many people fishing on the kayaking one which is not good! It's dangerous for inflatable kayaks because the hooks could pop them. I've seen many people bring their inflatable kayaks so it would be great to get the staff to make that change. Thanks in advance for your consideration!
Great place for a walk, kayaking, or just sit and enjoy the view. I take my daughter on walks here early in the morning right after sunrise, and it's a beautiful view. Fishing is okay, but watch out for getting your line snagged. Upkeep is done well. The only complaint is it closes too early, but the park staff needs to get home as well.
Beautiful park on the lake with a kayak launch ramp, elevated board walk and clean clear water with turtles everywhere. Picnic area: Picnic area includes a large covered gazebo and two BBQ pits.
Great place to walk around and maybe fishing if you have a canoe or a little boat. I came here to do fishing and I got nothing after a couple hrs trying. Could be too early to be around here for fishing. There were many leaves and fallen trees and branches under the water. I lost 4 lures because of that… too much I know. Perhaps, timing wasn’t the right time. I heard you can catch trouts here as they are dumping them on 1/18. So if you are curious come over but you may lose your lures if you fishing from the shore. I like the park tho but not too much for fishing. Anyways, cheers
Great place for fishing, exercise, or relaxing. They have stretching stations along the trail for adults only. There is a covered pavilion, clean restrooms, and park office. There are two docks for fishing and launching kayaks or canoes. We went to fish because it's stocked by Texas Parks and Wildlife and one of the Neighborhood Fishing Parks listed on their website.
This is a great place for fishing, kayaking, running/jogging/walking. There's a nice path around the lake and my daughter was thoroughly impressed with the bathrooms. I just wish there were bathrooms on the other side of the lake. Also, watch out for alligators and snakes.
