"Lake Shore Railway Museum focuses on General Electric locomotives, calling the collection the "Locomotives that our Parents and Grandparents Built". This collection is focused on locomotives built in the nearby GE plant in Erie, PA and surrounding areas and seeks to preserve the history of GE."

A great place to go. If the museum is closed you can still watch trains and tour the outside of the museum just be respectful to their property. If it's open its cheap to get into the museum and tour that and get to look in and walk around the outside displays. It's a great place to go explore trains. They had a blast going into the different cars as well as pretending to be a guest. I definitely would recommend visiting this musuem. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.
