The campground: it’s fairly small, the sites are kind of close together, I can see all my neighbors. No privacy. seems to be well-maintained. And the host was friendly and helpful. Site 20: great for pull-ins and pretty easy to get level. conveniently located right next to the pit toilets and a water spigot; hopefully they are not connected. The downside is that on a warm day with a slight breeze, smells from the pit toilet waft this way. I would not stay in this site again.
First off the camp host was amazing, scenery, campsites and amenities were very clean. If you need ice or fire wood they have it and host even let me borrow some power to air up my mattress because I forgot my pump. My wife and I do a lot of tent camping in various places and this place we will definitely come back to
Beautiful, but we kept getting bothered by the staff. We wanted to go camping to get away from the big city to be in nature, not have staff constantly everywhere. One staff member popped up at our camp site out of nowhere to ask when our guest was leaving even though they already told us they can stay until 10pm and it wasn’t 10pm yet, but they were nice nonetheless, and it’s great for people who want to feel like they have someone there looking out for them. I personally will go more off grid next time.
Awesome camp ground super close to Lake Mary. Bathrooms were really clean and everyone abided by the quiet hours. Our camp hosts, Doug and Danielle were amazing and answered all our questions as well as stopped by to check in on us. Highly recommend!Service: 5/5
Wow! This place is fantastic! This was our first time camping and we were really nervous to camp with our 3-year-old tyrant and 5-year-old. This is exactly what you would picture in a beautiful camp spot. Gorgeous trees. Very clean very nice campsites, each with its own fire pit, flattened area for your tent, and a picnic table. Clean bathrooms and drinking water available. There is a gorgeous trail through the woods it's only half a mile that leads from the campsite under lake Mary road to lake Mary. We walked there with the kids and then I ran back and grab the car with the kayak. There's another trail that goes up into the mountains that we didn't get to try but looking forward to doing next time. Doug and Danielle were the nicest camp hosts. They helped us out a lot our first time. Gorgeous place. Can't wait to go back!
This is a beautiful little campground right across the street from Mary Lake. It's small enough that there aren't hundreds of Campers and campsites are pretty far apart. This place is immaculate!! Camp hosts are really friendly and do an excellent job keeping it really clean.
Do not recommend for RVs. The website says they can accommodate RVs. I arrived tired and did a drive through. The sites look level at a glance so I paid for three nights. Then I discovered they all slop downward at a gradual but substantial level. I used two packs of leveling blocks and was still dramatically uneven. Spent two hours looking at all the other sites and those were just as uneven. The guy who was cleaning the restrooms tried to help. Finally spot 30 was tolerable but full sun. The whole point of shaded campsites is to keep my fur babies cool while I’m on the lake. I’ve stayed on dispersed camping areas and this is the worst spot I’ve parked in and I paid for it. Each day that I’ve been here I’ve watched other RVs drive in check out the slips and leave. The plus sides are: nice picnic tables, lots of trees, didn’t use the bathroom, and it’s close to the lake. I could carry my paddle board across the street and launch it. I would only recommend this campground for tents or the sites should be leveled off.
What an awesome place! Me and my friends went there before school started up again and we had a great time. Highly recommend checking out the lake early in the morning and late at night. In the morning you can check it out and enjoy it before tons of people get there with their boats. At night you can get an amazing view of the stars. Seriously, it was really incredible. Just make sure to dress warm, it can get cold at night.
Awesome place! Restrooms were clean and the camp host was super nice! Great spot close to the lake and minutes from the local store with canoe rentals and such! Highly recommend this place! Campgrounds have picnic tables at each spot. Make sure to pack blankets because it gets colder than you think at night! Such a beautiful lake and wasn't overcrowded at all.
This is a great campground. We just got home and were very happy with our stay. Jerry and Carol are the campground hosts and they really made us feel welcome. The grounds are clean and we will definately camp there in the future.
