Tried 2 days to call them to schedule an MRI appointment and gave up after being hours on the phone. Called a other company and had an appointment in 3 minutes was on hold for less than a minute. Don't even try this company go ahead and call a different one to begin with
I am disabled, use cane. Brought myself to LRH for bloodwork and X-rays. Everyone was kind. Started feeling woozy in hall when trying to leave X-rays. A lovely Nurse/Tech named Melanie took it upon herself to check on me. Went and got a wheelchair and she took me all the way through hallways, out the door and to my vehicle. She also made sure I was safely in vehicle. Very thankful for Melanie!! Above and beyond helpful!! I thank God for her!
Everyone was very nice and the waiting time was very short , the front desk lady was very helpful and the medical assistant very efficient her and the doctor explained everything to me I'm very happy with the service . I will looking for my Primary doctor with Lakeland Regional , also they didn't turn me away , or rejecting see me for my insurance or because I wasn't a patient with one of their doctors.
I had earlier posted a pretty terrible review of the lab here. I was very upset when I posted it, and it’s just not like me to be mean. So I took it down. They did rectify the situation and I’m grateful for that. Therefore I’ve updated my rating from 1 to 3 stars. I appreciate them making a poor situation better and taking care of it. My recommendation, however, is to tell your patients what is going on and why, instead of saying “we can’t do anything” offer a solution, because my entire situation could have been rectified much sooner had someone advised me that I needed an appointment for lab work, instead I was told by an employee that an appointment was not needed and to just come in when I had time. Instead of repeating “you need an appointment for lab work”, you should explained that to me to begin with and explained that you set that so called appointment for two hours after my arrival time. Nobody had explained that and it was upsetting to be sitting there not knowing if there was a hiccup or what was going on. Communication is key. Always explain what you’re doing and why so that your patients understand what is going on. It’s not our responsibility to know your policies, procedures and system. Don’t blame us when we don’t understand what is going on because you failed to explain it to us.
If I could give a zero star I would. I went to their Urgent Care last Saturday 3/18/2023. I was having a severe stomach pain and the lady in the front desk turned me away because she said she can’t find my insurance in their system tho I am sure they accept my insurance because I have an appointment with their Gastroenterologist on June and I used the same insurance when I booked it. I offered to pay out-of-pocket but she said it is fraudulent which I never heard before so she didn’t allow me. It was an awful experience.
Goes to get a physical exam, Everything goes good and then the nurse asks for a 14 page form that I've never heard of existing Not my first physical, says she can't see me without this form but refuses to name the form. I Call my Higher ups and they don't really know what she's talking about either, I go back to see if she mixed up patients or forms, "No, We are refusing to see you without "That" Form"" and walks me out. I Call scheduling and they have no clue what she's about either, I ask to talk to a Supervisor to get to the bottom of this and clear any confusion, " I'll have them call you later" Never receives a call
Asian PC was rude. She had a bad bedside manner.
Never had a problem here. Doctors helped my husband through a tough time setting up his surgeries and informing us of all we needed to know in preparation. Never had an issue when needing to call and reschedule personally or just get information. Very accommodating. Waiting times can be a pain in the butt, however that can be said about most every other practice so whatever. Definitely our experience here was positive.
I had a covid test done today and the staff there was so AMAZING. As I waited my turn to get tested I saw how employees were cleaning the chairs after every patient sat down, they made sure every one had a mask on before entering and every one had their temperature checked via wrist. This was an AMAZING facility. I was in and out in no time.
