Quiet, Pine Flat Lake 1/2 mile to boating, very nice people.
2nd time there. Always quiet. Close to Lake. Restrooms: Bathrooms are clean. Dog-friendliness: No problem with the dogs. Everyone walks them on a leash.
Best camping experience. This a very well kept and very clean campground. The staff is helpful and personable. Bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a camping facility. Very comfortable setting. Nice distance from lake. We walked to the lake and saw nonthreatening wildlife like wild turkeys and cottontails.
Campsite was amazing thanks to the host! Found us a very accommodating spot. Definitely would come back! It is perfect distance to the lake. As to the previous review left to the fat f*** complaining about us jetskiers he blasted heavy metal music at 7:30 am for 2 hours talk about not caring about all the other campers on the ground and yelling at people when they walked by. Sounds like they were the issue lol.
While the place was well kept, the management does a poor job of regulating quiet time. They stressed to us that after 10pm to keep it down and we followed the rules. However there were several obnoxious campsites with people playing drinking games, cackling women, and no respect for those around them. The campsites are basically on top of each other and very small and you cannot burn year round as their website states. Will not be returning. We booked 3 nights and our friend did the same , and we both packed up and left the next morning. The people that live there were worse than those trying to get away for a vacation. If you try to sleep before 1am good luck to you. P.S. this is where all the jet skiers apparently go which fits the behavior, so if you fit the description above, this place is for you.
Friendly Camp manager and great restroom facilities. Pine Flat lake is short walk downhill, but you probably won't want to walk back. Be careful if you are towing a boat because the roads in the campsite can be very narrow and steep.
Lovely place with a short distance to the pine flat lake. Wonderful management, exceptionally clean facility with wonderful groundskeepers. Management goes above and beyond call of duty to accommodate needs of guests and ensure your stay is the best you could ever have. Would highly recommend above any other.
$45/night for camping and thats for barely anyone to go with you. They charge extra if you want to bring more people through the site.. there are campgrounds on pine flat that even offer electric hookups if needed for a total of $30/night and they aren't all in ur business trying to charge u more if u brought ur wife and kids.this place is small very small and is an rv park so there are tons of residents around u that are there and partying usually..update since reply, I have been here twice under my real name and when u book online go ahead and select a family sized campsite.. it starts at 45 and goes up to like 53. I'm good, no need to call. I can see there is no fixing what u have there.
Price was $30 for Memorial Weekend 2020 a night. My tent area was looking down at a clift looking at Pine Flat Lake, I had the "Sunny" spot, but it was perfect, there wasnt others near me which I loved, my area was the deadend area I do recommend. Clean restrooms with 3 stalls, 3 sinks, and 3 hot showers and free Wifi. Wake up early, take a drive or hike to see wildlife.
I stayed there last summer and can't say enough GREAT things about it. Clean! Incredible Hosting staff, Sandi and Chris, EXCELLENT neighbors, and more. I'd have to say that the few months I stayed there contributed to some of the BEST memories I'll ever have. Thanks again Lakeridge! I miss you!
