Great campground for groups. We have been having family reunions here for about 10 years or more. Great camp hosts who keep restrooms and camps clean. Close to Pine Lake for fishing, swimming and small boats or kayaking. Also lots of great atv trails.
Nice place I warranty you won’t feel the heat during the night at all nice cold chill weather Quiet place the rules are very strict so you have the Chance to rest after 10 pm The pictures talk by themselves Little far but is worthy
We were the last ones to leave for the 2022 season and the only ones staying in the park the last night. We stayed five nights and none of the nights were busy so it was mostly always super quiet. The host seemed to keep the place super clean at all times. We didn’t use the bathrooms but upon a quick peak in they looked pristine as well. The wood bundles were among the largest we’ve seen in all of Utah for the same price of $8. Lake is close by with easy rainbow fishing. ATV trail close by. People complain about the road in but it wasn’t terrible. Yes, a bit of washboard, but a sweet spot not too fast nor not too slow made it easy travels even towing a fifth wheel.
Pine Lake Campground is pretty & clean but there are NO services here except water and we found the camp host to be a little terse. You can stay for up to 16 days, but there is NO dump station and NO trash service. So you must store your trash in your car/RV or drive 10+ miles round trip to the dumpsters on John's Valley Road; if you have holding tanks, the closest dump stations are 20+ miles away in Bryce Canyon City. Pine Lake is beautiful, we saw kayaks, SUPs, kids fishing & swimming near the concrete boat ramps. There were leeches on the grassy islands in July 2023! The nearby trail to Powell Point requires a 4x4 with some real clearance, otherwise an ATV, motorcycle or buggy. All the campers we met here were SUPER friendly & respectful of quiet hours: 10pm to 6am.
The campground itself was nice. The restrooms were more smelly than expected. Not sure if they hadn't been cleaned, or pumped out recently, but they were pretty bad. The host was a bit unaccommodating when it came to use of equipment to run a CPAP machine. We were no informed of any rules regarding such when we arrived and were not prepared for it. One member of our group was unable to sleep because of it. Restrooms: Very smelly even for outhouse style restrooms
Restrooms clean. Well maintained campgrounds. In walking distance of lake. Lake is nice but small. No motorized boats, kayaks/dingys ok. You get a fire ring and picnic bench. Bigger day use picnic area for large groups. Soo many stars at night. Camp host sells firewood and is very knowledgeable of the area. Close to Bryce. Had a great time. Camp host saved the day! Beware the 3miles of dirt/rock/gravel road to get into the campsites. We woke up to a flat on our last day and my spare was half deflated. Luckily for us, the host had a little air compressor and we were able to make it to the closest tire shop which was about 30min away.
This is an awesome campground. We had a group site with its own vault toilets, water spigot, 1 enormous fire pit, 2 small grill fire pits, and a large charcoal grill. It has several picnic tables and benches. The whole site is very clean. The lake is a 5 minute walk from the group sites. Overall this was one of the best camping experiences I've had.
Fun campground off the beaten path. Water and bathrooms provided. Lake is good for floating and fishing. ATV trails. 35 min drive to Bryce. Friendly campground hosts. Wood available for $7/bundle. Shaded campsite with plenty of room for tents.
Nice camp site surrounded by nature and by the lake. Camp sites are far from each other and gives good privacy. The bath room is very clean. It is a primitive camp site and there is a unpaved road to get there.
Camped here late September 2020. This is a very good campground. Most sites are level and private. There are two very well maintained pit toilets. There is a host. The campground is about 7 miles down a maintained washboard gravel/dirt road it's not a big deal. The lake is a short walk away. ATV trails in the area.
