Had some old watches that needed repair, one of them was unable to be repaired and I was not charged for it to my surprise! Other watch working great. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, Jacqueline helped me and was fantastic!!! Highly recommend.
I had an outstanding experience shopping for and purchasing an engagement ring at Lamon jewelers. As someone who was inexperienced in the world of buying jewelry, Kristen did a wonderful job of explaining everything to me and walking me through the whole process. I ended up being able to purchase a beautiful ring and stayed within my price range. They also offer free resizing and maintenance as a bonus. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for a great jewelry store in the Knoxville area.
I was advised to have the prongs of my diamond engagement ring tipped, or I could run the risk of losing my diamond. I contacted a few reputable jewelers in my area. A couple quoted almost the same price. One would have to send it out and the other did it in store. It would take 2-3 weeks. I couldn’t believe the price I was quoted by Lamon - $350 less and it would be done in house in a week. How was this possible? All the Lamon reviews were good. Not only did they do a superb job but it was ready in 3 days. Thank you Lamon. You cleaned it beautifully too Dianne May 2023
I recently brought a ring, which I had purchased at Lamon jewelers several years ago and for repair. One of the emeralds had fallen out and needed to be replaced. In my opinion it was a structural defect because this is the second time the emerald had fallen out of the exact same location. Upon delivering it to the sales person, she took it to the jeweler, who responded stating that it had obviously taken some sort of hit And caused the emerald to break into pieces and fall out. The interesting thing is the ring structure itself had absolutely zero issues. After a lengthy discussion, I was told that replacement cost would be $350 plus tax. Considering I believe this, it was a manufacturing defect I was quite surprised. They were set in stone about their price. So, I decided to go to Rick Terry jewelry And within five minutes was told that a replacement cost would be $213. The ring is now at Rick Terry being repaired, and Lamon jewelers has seen the last of me.
Took a broken ankle bracelet for repair… too damaged to fix but they did a great job on plan B … shorten a gold necklace to anklet size, then bought my ruined one plus the leftover from the necklace for the gold. Came out w a new ankle bracelet and cash! Have worked with this business before and always leave happy!
Lamon Jewelers did a great job sizing and cleaning an old family ring. It was amazing how beautiful it looked after restoration. Diane was knowledgeable, pleasant and followed through with every question. She provided true customer service, which is sometimes lacking in the world today. I highly recommend them.
Howard, Ann and the whole Laymon’s jewelry staff are the BEST. Quality diamonds, precious gems, and unique designs are all in the realm of what they provide at affordable prices. It is a MUST STOP when looking to buy that very special piece of jewelry. They also provide a great repair service and will have it ready to pick up on short order!! Love Laymon’s Jewelry
Always love coming here! Have not shopped any other jewelry stores in 11 years! And when they have cleaned & polished up my jewelry is definitely does NOT disappoint! The staff is amazing!
