West Valley Area’s mission is to enhance the quality of Valley life and the safety of our residents by working in partnership with the community to reduce crime, pursue violent criminal offenders, and create a safe travel environment through the application of consistent traffic enforcement.

Department sent swat team to aggressively arrest a working family man. They ruin wood floors and doors of my family’s home. Traumatize kids and family for life… confiscate money and a truck for no reason. Then returned it to the person who falsely claimed domestic violence. Detectives Became “really good friends” with the female suspect who called for a false domestic violence claim. Arrested of legally purchased gun which was purchased years ago and safely stored. Laws changed and the short barrel was not legal anymore… So because they brought swat and used excessive force they said it was upgraded to a felony. Visited my family’s home for no reason and spoke to the kids without knowledge or legal reason… The original detective with LAPD was James Edwards... Which doesn’t answer to lawyers calls or emails. we tried to request a form to fill out to get back the money they confiscated. But no reply. Go in person and they tell you to go to the other station for no reason. I go to the other station and I get told WestValley needs to handle this and “they lied and sorry but you have to go back.” Complete trash department.
How does your automated system say you close at 11pm then there's a paper on your door saying you guys close at 8pm? What good is a police station with no access into the hours you'd expect a police station to be operating. Sad waste of tax dollars.
The station is a good one and honorable. If I could help them with anything I would and try very hard to make them proud every day. They have a sign that has missing people this could be a way to help them if they ever needed support we support you.
Had to call 911 to have a Welfare check done on a roommate. The two officers that came out Guitierrez and Tri, were courteous, professional and the situation was handled properly. Thanks West Valley.
10/10 would recommend I really wish I could thank those two officers that detained me especially that one I don’t remember his name but I called him a Smurf but yeah didn’t really appreciate the handcuffs they called me Houdini because I kept slipping out of them buttttt they’re obviously all good at their job hopefully we’ll never see again
Professional service at the station , the desk officer answered all my questions and gave me proper instructions . The patrol unit officers was very professional and respectful and solve small issue in quick a peaceful way
The Deputies are very professional, and kind and caring. I would recommend them.
Great officers. Officers work well to make the intake as smooth as possible. Immediately contacted my parents so they knew I was in custody. Vehicles are kept clean and maintained well. I would highly recommend them for your next arrest.
I'm a firm believer in having Justice and having a police force or security force or something for the better good of the community and of mankind as a whole but I am confused about options and ways to get help when you don't really understand how things are happening but you know that it's wrong to react in self Justice and the police don't take you serious to investigate the proper cause of the immoral issue I feel helpless but Society is taught me that to react is bad and to try to follow protocol so I sit here confused and victimized and nothing will be done.
I would love to appreciate the level of service this station gave to us. I want to recognize the officers W.Wales and Officer P. Santono for excellent service that they provided to us. They should be recognized for their care, professionalism, politeness and kindness. Also We want to recognize for excellent service that Officer Godfrey gave us during our visit at the West Valley LAPD station. She took all her time to explain us our rights and duties and showed a lot of care for our inquiry and concern. These officers treated us like family and we really appreciate what they have done for us.
