Smith College's Latin@ Organization
The purpose of Latin American Students' Organization (LASO) is to provide a supportive network for Latin American students at Smith College, who at times may find the need to identify with people of their own cultural background and heritage. LASO encourages an active cultural exchange between Latin American students of different ethnic origins and their allies. LASO is an organization that promotes awareness on social justice, issues facing Latinxs on Smith campus, and encourages discussions concerning the Latin American community both domestically and abroad.
