Laury's Bakery and Cake

Best caramel cake ever!! They have the yummiest baked goods in West Garfield Park. They are located on Austin and Madison in between beauty stores. Parking is hit or miss because there is hardly any parking spot available. But if you're patient to circle around or pay for the parking meter. I will take more pictures next time, but to be honest, you need to go as they're don't carry much, just top selling items like their famous sweet potato pie that attracts people from all around waiting in a line. It is best to call in to order ahead of time. Don't get me started on their fresh pound cake .....yummy! Picture is of my grandson preschool cake. I just walked in and got the caramel asking them to put his name in it. It was so big that we lived of it for 4 days.

Cake was delicious!! Went in with my cake idea & photo came back to pick my son birthday cake up & they had put my cake in display of this one I ordered in the store. Lol i guess my idea was creative...I love this Bakery they never fell me!!

Staff is professional, efficient and VERY friendly. Designs on the cake are impeccable. I will be coming back most definitely and telling all my friends and family about this establishment. Bonus: cake tastes amazing.

It’s been some years since coming to this bakery when my grandmother was still alive, and the place hasn’t changed a bit. I loved the treats and such there. Got a Oreo cake slice today and it was pretty tasty. Savored every bite. The staff were also very friendly as well. Kudos to them.

I would never order another cake from this place, my cake taste like complete dye and I asked for fresh strawberries and got preserve strawberries, the worse this is the second time i thought maybe someone had a bad day.. than I call to report it and the caller decorator tells me my food taste bad not the cake…. It’s sad there is no good bakeries left in our city

I ordered a cake from Laury's for my birthday. The staff are friendly and the place is nice and clean. The cake I ordered was decorated perfectly, and was moist and delicious. The price I paid for the cake was affordable and was worth every dime. If you want a cake that's affordable and good I recommend Laury's

i ordered some danishes on sat and i really forgot to to get them and i asked them what can they do for me and they told me i just lost my money it wasnt their fault i forgot and wouldnt even try to compensate me for the product or my money . so i am giving them bad rview for the entire month evry day i aam going to give your bakery a bad review every day .

I've been coming to Laury's Bakery for my daughter's cake for years. I always get an 8' sheet cake. My daughter birthday was Monday her cake was filled with strawberries and the cake itself was fresh and really good. They never disappoint and always create the exact cake I'm looking for. The only bakery I come to for my daughter's birthday cakes.

It was a complete joy to visit the bakery today. Brodie and Reggie were phenomenal. Their customer service was the best. My mother and I left the store as happy as we could be. Great conversation.
