Great spot. $48 a night RV site on the riverside. Possitives: Grass sites for clean camping/RV. Large sites and you can pitch tents Electric Free showers and Bathrooms CLEAN Basketball, Volleyball courts Family and dog friendly Near downtown, hotsprings, restaurants, water park, and float companies. Negatives: No sewer or water hookups down by the river...you have to fill up your tank with fresh water. These are not FULL HOOKUPS Train goes by all night long...easy fix...run a fan for white noise..or simply enjoy the sounds...lol
We love it here! Barbara and her husband are amazing people! They bring you ice, wood it's so convenient! The area is well maintenance. We go several times a year!
Close to town and very reasonably priced. If your doing the R.V. thing this place is for you. Just remember it's very popular so get your reservations early
Busy street on one side, trains blaring their horns all night on the other side. This is no fault of the property, but does not allow for much peace/sleep. + hookups work great. + 10 min walk to the town center - bathrooms get dirty and aren’t cleaned frequently. - no WiFi. - NOISE!
I was skeptical when we first pulled in. It turned out to be a great location with very clean bathroom with showers. The campsites are well suited for a trailer and tents. The sites are nicely mown grass spots. The fire pits are small but worked perfect. We ended up loving our time here.
Our family, of 6 adults and 7 kids spent a 3 day weekend camped at Lava Mobile Estates. We were located on the lower field by the river. New bathroom, plenty of room for kids to run and play. Volleyball and basketball were available. Camped on green grass with the use of tables and a bowery. Throughly enjoyable. We loved the trains and the hot springs. Friendly staff and reasonable rates. We will definitely be booking again.
Ever been to lava hot springs? Did you know there is a train? It's 100 ft. from this camp. It runs every 2 hours, 24 hours a day, and the conductors live out their childhood fantasies of pulling on the train horn giddy with delight. The camp was overpriced for the... accommodations. 2 stars because the camp was clean.
Spacious camps site!! Enough room for kids to play water balloons fighting & other outdoor games. We enjoyed our stay. The management & staffs are very friendly and made us feel at home. Thank you Lava Mobile for making our annual camping a fun & memoriable experience for our family members that decided to join us this year. Will definitely come back for our annual camping at Lava Hot Springs!!
Nice facilities. Clean bathrooms and camp sites. Free showers. It is close to the train tracks so the horns woke me up through the night. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
Ok so it's sandwiched between a major highway and a railroad line. In a mobile home park. Friendly but not very clean and limited showers. All in all though I would go back again
