I have heard about so many bad outcomes from spinal surgery, that I kept putting it off until I could barely walk. Thank heavens I was referred to Dr. Lawner by Chiropractor Dr. Margaret Perez. I had surgery in July 2016, and after recuperating for about three months, I was completely pain-free and back to my usual activities. Dr. Lawner performed a minimally invasive procedure so I have only a small scar on my side and three tiny scars in my back where metal screws were inserted. Immediately following the surgery, the "drawing" pains down the backs of my legs disappeared completely, as well as the sciatic pain. I highly recommend Dr. Lawner for his skill and his pleasant personality.
Dr Lawner did my surgery in 1998, and short time after surgery, he had me walking and the minute I put my feet on the floor I knew I was pain free. Two years prior I had difficulty sleeping, walking, sitting, standing... was in pain all day, sciatic pain radiated all the way to bottom of foot. Dr Lawner is the best thing that happened to me.
