My son was in patient there. His NURSE hooked up with him and he then went to live with her. He is an actively using addict, a Felon with active warrants. She has a small child. She knows he was not allowed to even have supervised visits with his own children!! He is deemed DANGEROUS and cannot even speak with them! staff making such very poor choices and beginning a relationship with charges? THEY KNOW THEIR HISTORY AND CURRENT SITUATIONS- this is NOT a safe or well run place. Do they teach staff Appropriate professional ethics? Or at least expect and maintain them? There is zero possibility that this nurse did not know how very very unethical this was. I would never tell anyone to have anyone go there. This kind of behavior exacerbates patient suffering illnesses. I don’t care how “charming and handsome” my son is. She knows better. Yuck. Shame on her and on HIM AND ON YOUR STAFF AND BUSINESS. And yes, there is proof. By her. Her son, friends all know him. And she admits it all IN WRITING. Do your job and protect sick people. Don’t prey on them.
It has been 8 years since I detoxed off a mega dose of long time use of benzodiazepines at LE Phillips. They safety withdrew me using phenobarbital. It was successful. My only complaint is they are non smoking. Withdrawing from a drug is not the time to go without nicotine.
They'll take great care of you! For detox services, the typical state is 3 to 5 days depending on your needs. During that time, they can bring all of your meals right to your room if you so desire. They understand if you do not feel well enough to even leave your bed. Depending on how you feeling, there are optional recovery groups and AA/NA meetings to attend. It doesn't feel like a hospital, but St Joe's is right next door should your medical needs require more care. Staff is great and will never make you feel poorly about yourself or what brought you there; I never felt judged. They do have a 28 day recovery inpatient program if you and your funding source decide on an inpatient program. I feel like the daily schedule for the 28 day program is not as "busy" as other options in the area, like Fahrman for example. There is no smoking on the property, so they take your tobacco when you check in. Once you go to the 28 day program, there are activities that you can leave the building for, and you will get your tobacco back for these events. Any questions, please ask me!
This place saved my life. They helped me detox off a horrible life inside the bottom of a bottle. I’m now in seminary and have a healthy family.
If you want to get SOBER and stay SOBER then L.E Phillips is the place. Sure they give you meds as needed but more then none you need them. If you fell the meds aren't working or to many meds talk to your doctor. Yea it is expensive but no more then any other recovery center. The detoxing is only 3 to 5 days depending on your level of care. They have a residential program that is 28 days and you'll learn life skills so at least you have a fighting chance when you leave L.E. This is a action program period. I'm living proof that L.E saved my life but you have to want it. *** Update *** it's been 18 months and still going strong! God bless L.E Phillps
This place is complete garbage! They prescribed me 15 different drugs! I'm not joking I have a photo of the bag of meds I left with! The CNAs and the RNs are the only ones worth anything! All of the medications I was given made me feel even more messed up! I am showing my primary physician the meds and disposing them and getting in touch with my lawyer to talk about a lawsuit! PLEASE PLEASE people do not send your loved ones here!
Our friend went there to get help... You guys dropped him back off because he couldn't afford to stay.... thank you!!!! we no longer have our friend with us as days later he committed suicide!!! These places aren't here to help unless you have money shame on you!!! Rest in paradise TT.
I was very sick when I entered their detox. The staff of LE Phillips saved my life.
I wish they could really help me again this time last time I had covid-19 and I had to leave but if I can come back to LA Phillips I mean it would be great
Went there for Detox after multiple visits to regular Dr, and ER for terrible withdrawal symptoms, they took very good care of me, constant monitoring, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend for anyone needing this.
