This review is SOLELY for the PHYSICAL THERAPY DEPARTMENT OF LEE ORTHOPEDIC INSTITUTE, under the care and management of Dr. Co Luu, Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Luu, along with his EXTRAORDINARY staff have contributed to the quality of my life one PT session at a time. I have been in the "unfortunate" situation where physical therapy has become part of my routine for almost 20 years now. I can honestly say that I did NOT like or respect the practice and profession based on the previous care received. To put it mildly, NOT everyone should be in the REHABILITATION business! Needless to say I was EXTREMELY reluctant to have Dr. Luu become my physical therapist, I was "over" it "ALL", but IN NEED of help. I'm SOO grateful I decided to give his and his crew a chance, because I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED SUCH EXCELLENT CARE! I appreciate the way Dr. Luu explains what is happening in your body resulting in the pain you're feeling. He takes him time to make SURE, you UNDERSTAND WHAT is HAPPENING and WHY it's HAPPENING. With every exercise he assigns you, he elaborates on the purpose and the goal of the movement. It's important to Dr. Luu that his patents UNDERSTAND their therapy and their individual road/plan to recovery. I HAVE NEVER MET A PHYSICAL THERAPIST WHO CARED LIKE THIS! His staff is a DIRECT reflection of the BEST parts of him! Every single one of them is PROFESSIONAL and EXCEPTIONAL! John, Emma , Jae, Erik, Ruthy, Chris, Jane, and Kristin. I LOVE going to therapy!! I enjoy the atmosphere, positive vibes and energy that vibrates throughout the room! It's CONTAGIOUS and HEALING! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Co Luu and his staff of physical therapy assistants!
If you go, make sure you push for them to really listen and figure it out. The root cause of my pain was never found. The exercises they gave helped for a while, but they never really could tell me what was wrong. I felt frustrated by the end of treatment because I was still experiencing pain, but was over the clinic not giving it more attention. I enjoyed the staff, but yeah, unfortunately the clinic didn't come through for me.
It is my pleasure to share experience I had with Dr. Lee Christopher. I never had a Korean doctor in the past. The initial appointment was for a minor blood vessel on RT hand pinky. The first impression was good enough to make further appointments for Ganglion Cyst. He was humble to answer all Qs I had; He even process DEXA scan authorization, which my primary doctor neglected to do so. He has sufficient knowledge, experience, & professionalism. I strongly recommend.
They scam you by assuring that they checked with your insurance and that there will be no cost to be incurred by you even though you expressly request and tell them that you don't want any service if there is any cost, they make you buy a splint that you have at home assuring that you would pay $0, so you take the services to 3-4 months later get a bill for $312 for just talking to the doctor for 5 mins, getting an xray, and 6 physical therapies. The costs are even not consistent. E.g. For the same physical therapies you get, once it goes $70 and it's mostly exercising yourself and sometimes it's $7. The cost they initially submit request to the insurance is ridiculous $110 for that splint!, there are mysterious costs they suddenly add in the next bill that are in between the dates you already got billed for and not consistent, you talk to them and they can't explain anything, they offer you suddenly a 50% discount as you'll file claims. Even 1 star is too much for this place.
The best physical therapy experience I’ve had so far in LA. Professional, courteous, informative and seriously thorough.
This place is reallu really sux ever in my life... Rude , expansive ,doing nothing!! i really pain my arm and the doctor Never try to do anything and only said "it's nothing take rest 2 weeks" Thats all he does and i paid $300 so i went the other hospital and that doctor told me i got fraction.... So i wear a cast on my arm Do not go this place Do not try Waste Your money
Worse office to get a report. I have two months trying to obtain a report for my client and this office just gives me the run around. They leave you on hold and they lie.
Dr. Lee is great!! The surgery went awesome and if i could I would give him 10 stars! He goes above and beyond.
Really great place. The receptionist are awesome and sweet. Dr. Lee is a great man.
I made a reservation without insurance before, but they kept me waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes. I went into the doctor's room and I got a light bruise on my knee, but he told me to pay 300 dollars plus an x-ray, and he said that he couldn't say anything without an x-ray, so it wasn't a hindrance to walking, but 400 dollars was too much to spend, I couldn't get any treatment, what I couldn't hear a word and it really didn't even last a minute, so I just left. Even if it's unfair to wait for the time But the old receptionist outside said to pay 300 bucks to see the doctor's face! Hahaha what kind of robbery is this.
