Lehigh Valley Burn Center

Went to LV burn unit with a bad burn to my right outer thigh... The staff there is AMAZING ! PJ Prendergast was my primary care giver.. He was AWESOME !! He is very caring and an all around great guy !!! He is an asset to your facility !! Lauren, Val and Emily were fantastic also !! Keep up the good work !!!

My husband got to this hospital after a severe burn injury. He is still there, but I can not be happier with the care he is getting over there. I am a nurse and a foreign MD myself. I work in different healthcare facilities, so my opinion on the quality of care is pretty reliable. The nursing staff is easily approachable, nice, sensitive, and professional. I can reach them every time I call and they patiently share the updates. Doctors and PAs make sure they speak with me as well every time I visit my husband or call me. Nurses are checking on him at least every 15 min, repositioning, assessing, and addressing any changes in his status. They all are amazing. Especial thanks to John, who I observed during my visit. All I can say --he is an astonishing nurse! I feel very supported and developed trust that my loved one is getting the best care possible. Updates 09/15/2022 My husband Mike received a truly stellar care in the Lehigh Valley hospital. Staff is amazing and professional, rooms are spotless clean, accommodations are thoughtful, the approach is individual, and support is sincere! Dr. Lozano, Dr. Blome-Eberwein, Dr. Amani—did a remarkable skin grafting surgery. Every single detail was well-thought-out to prevent the potential adverse events. Any condition changes were noticed on time, and proper measurements were taken. They are a group of dedicated and highly trained experts that do a miracle to the patients. They brought my husband back to life. PA’s: Angela, Valerie, Carly, and Shawn—please accept our sincere gratitude for your involvement in Mike’s care and the continues support. Your genuine attention was sensed, and we can not thank enough for being there for us. My dear colleagues, nurses. Took my Mother here for a painfully bad burn on her foot. These people were awesome! The nurses doctors and people working this center are extremely nice, considerate, and highly knowledgeable in their area of expertise. Including in the follow up care! Thank you

Worked here for 9 and a half years as a nurse. Form an employee perspective, they didn't pay the much for how large the facility is and they didn't do anything much different on how they treat their employees. But the facilities is what is significant. They are very up-to-date on their equipment and rooms throughout the hospital. The campus so very well cared for and very nice looking. From a patient perspective, as with every hospital that you go to, there are great doctors and not so great doctors. So it is up to who you have and trust to care for you. Same thing with nurses. There are great and not so great nurses. But overall the care is top notch and I would go here without hesitation if I need to be in the hospital!

Love this place. I'm so glad I went after a work 3rd degree burn The doctor work sent me to had no idea how to treat burns. So I took it upon myself to come here. I finally found someone who says everything I was feeling was normal and they didn't look at me like a deer in headlight. The other place had me thinking I was crazy. Lehigh is top notch and will recommend to anyone I know. You guys are the best.

My wife needed emergency surgery on Friday night of a holiday weekend. All employees were professional, kind and very attentive to our needs. We are grateful to the superb medical services we received. Daniel, Helen, Kate, Kelly, Gabrielle, Natasha, Bhavi, Chrissha and Trina are just a few of the good people that cared for us. Thank you!!

Absolutely degrading. Had burns in my throats and I had to plead with hand motions to get a pen and pencil to make basic requests/ communicate. Half of the time they just walked away since I couldn't speak with a breathing tube in 0/10 wouldn't go there if my arm was on fire not really but you get it

My son had to visit the burn center and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had. Everyone was so incredibly thoughtful. I would absolutely recommend to others!

My son burned his throat blowing glass and was admitted to the ER. Not only were they rude to my son, they were rude to us. Inconsiderate staff.

the doctor was wonderful and took the time to look and talk to me about my second degree burn i had on my left breast after a hot water accident on christmas eve
