Spacious grassy fields to accommodate many dog activities. Plus, a very organized trail system of about 3 miles connecting the surrounding parks and neighborhood sporting areas. The gravel paths are about 5ft wide with plenty of overhead tree shade, just perfect on a hot summer day. I parked in front of the peaceful memorial quad and enjoyed the different sculptures and flower arrangements before em"barking" on the hike. The entire place is well-kept and better than I imagined! The photos included are just the highlights. If you have 2-3 hours to spend with a dog, friend, special love, or just by yourself, I highly recommend giving this park a shot...it'll be so worth your while
This place very nice to spend 45-90 min in trail. It is like isolated from modern world. You feel like you are inside a forest. I enjoy to joking in this trails. It has nice lake in the middle and if you want to spend time, there is sling and dock. If you want you can catch fish but put need to them back.
One of my favorite places to walk. The paths are clear and while you'll see people walking with a friend, their dog, or their children, the trails never feel crowded. Lots of free parking available, moderate hills, some streams to pass by and a lake, and some open green spaces for little ones to run around freely and a small public garden very near a busy road so supervision of small children is needed
Love this trail just so happen to find it on my all trail app and never knew it was there have also passed by it a thousand times lol this trail is amazing and I have gone different ways everytime I have been there it has red blue and Yello trail all between 1 mile to 2.5 miles but u can make it fun and a lot longer if you go and add different ways. The people that run ‍ and walk ‍ this trail are friendly and always say good morning and the views and small fish lake are incredible even the deer are super calm to all the people that walk or run there definitely a must go trail hike/ walk love this place
Super clean trails with lots of space. Very well maintained. Hot days aren’t so bad because of the canopy shade. There are portable restrooms about half way around the red track. Lots of foot traffic without feeling crowded. No technical spots although poles are still a good idea for anyone with balance issues. The longest trail is still nice and short so you can just keep walking or running around the loops until you get what you need or use this spot for a brisk wake up. The hills are not too steep or long so they’ll help get your heart rate up without making you feel tired. All around this park is a gem in the area.
This is a lovely park with tons of shade and mild hills. The trails are well maintained, marked with mile markers and there are several bridges on the trails which make for great photo opportunities. The trail map is clear and there is ample parking. You can definitely get a good walk or jog in on this trail.
The park has several different areas, we primarily use the dog park for our two Golden Doodles to let them run. Separate for large and small dogs and both are nice sized for them to run. Not a lot of extras but they don't use them anyway.
Beautiful wooded park with a fun 2 mile hiking route that is very kid friendly. Good place to walk the dog too. The main parking lot has only enough spots for about 20 cars so arrive early on the weekends, otherwise there is overflow parking available with a bit longer walk.
This park is my go to place for a good nature hike which is a 2.5 mile loop. A lot of shade and always cooler during the summer when the temperature is high. Lots of people hike and run on this trail. It also has a small lake where you can fish. You will need to release the fish back in the lake. There is also a dog park here.
I really enjoy walking/rucking the trails here. They all loop in a simple to follow circle flow and have different mile lengths available depending on how far you would like to go. A nice park for dogs and three are always friendly people passing by on the trail! Check this place out for your next family walk!
