The Lewis & Clark Exploratory Center, in Charlottesville, VA, is a hands-on activity center for explorers of all ages to learn about history and nature.
We are open by reservation for visitors, school groups, and day camp groups Monday through Saturday. As of May 14, 2016, we will be open to the public and walk-in visitors Fridays and Saturdays from 10-4. The Lewis & Clark Exploratory Center is a hands-on center focusing on the historic expedition as a gateway for learning about exploration, transportation, the arts, science, the natural environment, and native cultures.
