I cannot express enough how delighted my family and I have been with the outstanding service provided by Medical City Lewisville, especially in the Labor & Delivery department. Having experienced their care almost four years ago when my first grandchild was born, and now as we eagerly await the arrival of our second, their dedication and expertise continue to amaze us. From the moment we walked through the doors, the entire team at Medical City Lewisville has gone above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and reassured. The staff's genuine warmth and compassion shine through, creating an environment of trust during such significant life moments. The level of professionalism exhibited by the medical staff, nurses, and support personnel is truly commendable. Their attention to detail and willingness to answer our questions, no matter how trivial, has made the journey through pregnancy and delivery a much smoother one. It’s been almost 2 years since I had my daughter here, and I must leave this review. When I was admitted to L&D I was nervous and very concerned about the quality of care I’d receive because none of the medical professionals there looked like me Sorry, just being honest. However, from the moment I stepped foot into Labor & Delivery there was a tech named Sherry or Sherri that made me feel 100% at ease! She was knowledgeable, reassuring, and just a breath of fresh air for this nervous mama. She even made it back the next day in time for my delivery, as she promised! Just the level of care the L&D nurses provided me was top tier. My nerves and anxiety were calm. My nurse that stayed with me until discharge in postpartum care was everything I could hope for. Her name was Rachel or Rachael. I have an amazing story to tell about the birth process of my daughter because of the quality care these professionals provided. I felt at home!! I felt heard!!
The hospital/emergency room is always a scary place to be at for many. However, this hospital and its staff are truly amazing. Their billing department is also amazing at working with you. The doctors are phenomenal and so friendly. Made a visit to the ER so much less frightening.
Went last night with my daughter because it was closer than Children's and the nurse line said get her seen quickly. WOW! Next time we need Pediatrics or any ER this will be our place. The staff especially the nurses were amazing. They walked my daughter step by step through each procedure and took the fear out of it. The doctor spoke to her making eye contact in a way she understood. He asked me if I had any questions. The whole experience was great.
I'm angry about the lack of care my niece received in Medical City Lewisville, TX, ER on 9/11/23. She was sent by ambulance from Carrolton Regional Medical Center because she was possibly miscarrying with a dropping hemoglobin. Soon after arriving at Medical City Lewisville, the ER doctor discharged her without assessing her and told her to see an OB MD in 2 days. Your ER docs need better training. My niece ended up at Baylor Scott & White Fort Worth the next day. She miscarried the baby, and her hemoglobin dropped to 6. She received two units of blood. If she had followed your doctor's suggestion and waited two days, she would have died! I'm a nurse, and this was horrifying. This review should be 0 stars. For the people reading this review, please find another hospital or ensure you have life insurance and a lawyer.
I cannot say enough good things about my first time here. They made my labor and delivery and recovery process a great experience. My nurses were phenomenal. Special shout out to Lisa. She came in every 2 hours and helped change my baby and even sat with us when feeding and talked with us. Knowing how tired I was she did everything she could to make sure I was well rested. My nurses explained everything I needed to know and had no judgement towards me as a first time mom knowing nothing. The food was wonderful & the portion size was more than enough. Thank you!!!
Everyone was very friendly, courteous and professional, Liv out front at the desk is a peach, all of the day-surgery nurses were very attentive and caring especially Allyson. The facility is kept very clean and inspires confidence. I wouldn't hesitate to be treated here.
Went into the ER this morning at 10 a.m. needing an emergency cyst removal on my neck that had inflamed and was infectous. The staff even though they were extremely busy was still courteous and respectful. The nurses deserve raises for what they do all day. Thank you to Harrison and the other nurse who ran patients in and out all day.
The entire team at Medical City Lewisville was absolutely wonderful during the arrival of our baby girl. From registration all the way through discharge everyone was kind and answered all of our questions. The nursing teams were so supportive and encouraging, and helped my husband and I through every step of the delivery process. As a first time mom I could not have asked for a better labor and delivery experience.
If you want to not get treated in an appropriate time go here !! I wouldn’t send my dog here . Theirs room they no longer use , they use for themselves and comfort but they have patients sitting in different waiting rooms and and a hallway with chairs and curtains in between those chairs so no since of privacy . I had to sit in the lobby with 102 fever and the uncomfort of several other having no where to sit
