Liberty Dental, PLC

In 2015, totally new to Ann Arbor and in need of a dentist, I visited Liberty Dental at the recommendation of my boss at the time. Eight years later, after many moves to and from and finally, back to Detroit, I still make the drive to see Dr. Johnson. I can't say enough good things about absolutely everyone there. Dr. Johnson, especially, is excellent at what she does. Plus, everyone is so darn friendly. I will keep coming back as long as I'm nearby and still have teeth, which, given the excellence and professionalism at Liberty Dental, should be a good, long time.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Liberty Dental! Not only did they work with me on the entire journey of getting a dental implant, but there was absolutely no shame or judgment. I was extremely self conscious, and the entire staff, from the dentists, the hygienists, and especially the front desk made me feel so at ease. The Tooth Fairy is real, and they’re at Liberty Dental! Thank you for giving me my full smile back!

Liberty Dental wanted to charge me $1,360 for a cleaning! Yes, it has been too long since I’ve had my teeth cleaned. So if they had said it was going to cost a little more, I would have understood. But they were trying to pitch four “deep cleanings” one for each quarter of my teeth. I don’t have any issues with my teeth or gums, and they don’t bleed. They tried to rationalize this with the savings I had from the missed cleanings. I felt like I was being sold a used car. I wish this had been discussed before either the x-rays or dental exam, when I was told everything looked good. So I’m out $298 for x-rays and exam, but I will still need to pay for a second exam when I find an honest dentist to do the cleaning.

All of the office staff, hygienists, doctors, and assistants are very professional and courteous. Everyone who works there also seems to take pride in being precise, meticulous, and efficient. The new office is a very comfortable setting, and the friendly vibe makes it easy when trusting them with my care

Liberty Dental has kind and reliable dentists who are passionate about the field. I plan on using them for a while! However, they left a negative first impression while signing up. No one returned my calls all week, it was a several month wait for my appointment, and the lady at the front is a bit rude. I'm glad I stayed since the dentists are great, but I was very close to picking another dentist. First impressions are incredibly important

The hygienists are great and polite. However, the receptionists are rude, entitled, and highly unprofessional. They talked behind my back and called me WEIRD!!, when the only thing I did was stay in the reception for longer than usual while waiting for my ride. They also kicked me out even before their last patient had left. I am a Latinx patient who frequently visits other healthcare providers in the county and had never been treated like this before. If you do not want to be treated poorly and looked down upon, I would recommend staying away from this place.

Holy @#$% I never thought this practice could get better but wow the new facility is amazing. Easy to get to, parking for days and a gazillion rooms so minimal waiting. Love the staff and the dentists are not only the best they are really cool. Fun for all ages. I am not associated with any staff just a huge fan.

I've been a patient here for many years and always received such great care. Love the new office! Such a relaxing environment. The staff is the best - friendly and knowledgeable. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me or talk me into work that is not needed. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I have been getting my teeth cleaned at Liberty Dental since I was a child. They really feel like family! I am always greeted with a smile when I walk in and they take great care of me throughout the experience. The staff at Liberty Dental truly care about their customers and always ask me about things going on in my life. I’m always shocked when they remember what I told them 6 months ago at my next visit! Expect great service at Liberty Dental.

Best. Staff. Ever. I have been a patient with this dental practice for 5 decades. The Liberty Dental staff is one of the best medical practice offices I have ever been to. Nancy, Sheralee, and Robin are my favorites. From the old-house office to the new modern facility, the practice core is what makes them all so special. Dr Stevenson and Guernsey and both are very talented, pleasant, compassionate, and enjoyable to have taking care of me and my family. I would imagine, Dr Johnson is just as wonderful. I hope to see them for another several decades.
