I have been a patient with Dr. Martin for over 5 years. I came to him after experiencing years of dental anxiety and many negative experiences from previous dentist, such as not being numbed fully, bad fillings, cavities left under crowns that turned into root canals. Dr. Martin and his staff are kind, compassionate and empathetic to the trauma that you may have experienced. For the first five years I took advantage of the free sedation he offers for all my dental work and needs, but my last appointment I had built enough confidence in Dr. Martin that I went into my crown appointment with no sedation. I was nervous at first but after he started working I realized he is so efficient and thorough in his work, I’m really glad I got to experience not sedated what an exceptional dentist he is.
Life Dentistry is a wonderful place. From the moment you walk in, you are met with friendly, caring staff. Like many, I was embarrassed, scared, and anxious. Once I met Dr. Martin, my fears vanished. As a patient, you are included in the discussion and decision making. He is a caring, competent professional who puts the care and comfort of his patients as #1.If needed, there is free sedation. Dr. Martin wants the experience to be as positive and pain free as possible. I am so happy that I found my "forever dentist." Give them a call. You won't be sorry!
This review is way overdue. There's just so many dentists out there, and I feel so very, very fortunate to have found Dr. Martin and Life Dentistry after moving here 3 1/2 years ago. I want to express my sincere Thank you to Dr. Martin, and his incredible staff for taking good care of me during my recent dental procedure. What started out as a mild toothache went into severe pain mode, and I could not eat for 2 days. I called Life Dentistry and they worked out an appointment to get me in. I had developed an infection under my existing crown, and I was in tremendous amounts of pain. To say the least, everything went like a breeze for my root canal. His work is like "Wow" and I am in No pain. His work truly amazes me. He has a vibrant and caring personality, very detailed, the latest equipment/technology, and a wonderful staff. If you are looking for an absolutely great dentist/surgeon, who performs general dentistry to dental implants, look no further. This is your man, Dr. James Martin at Life Dentistry. Thank you!!
I recently had a fantastic experience at Life Dentistry with Dr. Martin & Dental Assistant, Sabrina. From the moment I walked in, Richelle greeted me with warm smiles and made me feel comfortable. The waiting area was clean and inviting, and I was impressed by the modern and state-of-the-art equipment in the office. During my visit, Dr. Martin and Sabrina were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They took the time to understand my concerns and thoroughly explain the treatment options. I appreciated their expertise and the way they made me feel like a valued & important patient. I choose not to use sedation although sedation is FREE at all visits! My huge fear is feeling something during a procedure. Dr. Martin understood my concerns and ensured that I had 100% painless dental procedure. Please believe me it was an extraordinary amount of work done! I was there almost 4 hours!!!! Dr. Martin is committed to providing quality care and took extra measures and steps to address my fears & reassure me when need be. The office had a calm and reassuring atmosphere that also helped ease my nerves. Furthermore, the office has an excellent administration team. They efficiently handled insurance and scheduling, making the process hassle-free. I highly recommend Life Dentistry and Dr. Martin to anyone in need of dental care. They excel in patient care, professionalism, and providing a comfortable environment. I'll definitely be returning to them for all future dental needs. I've had a great experience with the team at Life Dentistry who I came to after being recommended to do so by my father. The professionalism demonstrated in the appointment process inspired a level of confidence I’d come to the correct place right away. The positive feelings carried forward in the warm greetings I received from Sabrina and Richelle on arrival and continued in my experiences with Kent, Kiersten and every other team member I’ve encountered during my now three visits to the office. The sense that everyone on this team cares has been reinforced by Dr. Martin’s personal follow-ups to check on how I was doing following my appointments. Also worth mentioning is the friendly and thorough assistance and follow up I received from Richelle when checking in with questions I had regarding my insurance billing. I can now understand why my dad has kept on me to make Dr. Martin my dentist these past few years. He and everyone on the team have been genuinely concerned with ensuring I receive the highest level of care and that I’ve remained comfortable throughout the process. Knowing this is going to be the case on each visit has taken the stress out of the experience. If you're someone like me who's had a bad experiences in other dental offices that caused you to dread going back to a dentist and you've waited longer than you should have between getting your chompers checked, then Dr. Martin and his entire team get my enthusiastic recommendation.
It's strange, I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Life dentistry is warm, welcoming and do a great job taking care of what I need. I'm in my 30's and they removed a wisdom tooth, I was expecting to be out of commission for a week afterwards; I barely needed an ibuprofen the following day. 10/10, would recommend. James has a fantastic team and it's been nothing but a pleasure going here.
If you're looking for a new dentist, search no more! I honestly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Martin and his team! From the first phone call with the ladies up front, to xrays and consultation to extreme dental work, they have been nothing shy of amazing. This is the first time in my life I've actually looked forward to getting dental work done! 10/10 recommend them for everyone! I only wish I would have taken the plunge and called them sooner. Thank you team for making my visits so enjoyable and comfortable.
I spent over 2.5 hours at life dentistry, getting passed around with hygienists who were trying to sell me on the deep clean. One particular hygienist got stuck with me. We were talking about just money problems, and then she proceeded to actually ask for my credit card to do the clean because I absolutely needed it. After 2 1/2 hours I saw no dentist and decided to leave. I was told by their front desk staff that they do not do delta dental because they never reimburse so I was charged almost $400 for my visit. .Be careful of this place. I go to a real dentist now who has a treatment plan that’s affordable and works with insurance. this place is fraudulent I’m pretty sure. To charge me almost $400 for a visit without ever seen a dentist? At a real ETHICAL dental practice, I paid approximately $100 for the deep clean that they were trying to take my credit card for $1200 for.
Dr. Martín and his staff are the best! I have dental anxiety and haven’t been to a dental office in years. Dr. Martín was very thorough and detailed while explaining why I needed certain treatments. He not only taught me the why but also how I can prevent further issues. He took the time to ask me questions to understand my dental anxiety. Today I got some fillings done and I couldn’t believe that I didn’t feel any pain. The last time I had fillings I felt EVERYTHING! And was too shy to say anything. Thank you Dr. Martin and team. You all have the best personality and obviously work very well together. I never felt so comfortable and at home. I might still be numb but I didn’t feel any pain
I used to love this place. It was the only place I could find that truly helped with my anxiety. I thought my fears were over. Of course I appreciated the oral sedation they offered but I really only needed nitrous for my cleanings and it was complementary and now they don’t have nitrous anymore at all. It’s too much trouble to be sedated for just a cleaning so I have to find a new dentist. I’ve just really never heard of a dentist that doesn’t have nitrous and for being a dentist that caters to patients with dental phobia I was just really disappointed to find out they stopped providing it. Dr. Martin is great and I would consider coming back if they decided to provide nitrous again, even if I have to pay for it. Until then I am back to being terrified and trying to find a new dentist with a crown that just popped off :
