Such great trails, views and wilderness. Many places to have a quiet secluded picnic. Natural beauty abounds everywhere. Perfect trail to stroll along the waterfront. Bathrooms available as well as free parking. Dogs love to explore and walk the trails, very dog friendly. Restrooms: Clean and neat bathrooms. Dog-friendliness: Trails everywhere, dogs required to be on leash. Other dogs were friendly and their owners were very respectful.
One of the best Seattle parks, hands down. You get a great variety of forested trails and waterfront paths with some lovely views of Puget Sound. It's typically pretty lively with families out and about in the park areas, but parking is abundant and generally very accessible. Truly a gem of West Seattle!
Well maintained trails for both trail running and walking. There are enough chairs for people to rest and catch beautiful views. You may bring a little bit organic food no salt or other chemicals added for the squirrels…..
A stellar Park that is extremely dog friendly, filled with many friendly pet owners as well. More signage could be employed to help you not get lost. But if you do get lost you just walk East and you should hit Fauntleroy. The vistas of the sound and the old growth trees, make it worthwhile. There are lovely fields a number of play structures, and a beach level public swimming pool. Washrooms and garbage cans are spread throughout.
Amazing park. Have a pavement to go down the stairs. There's a road along side the water. Sunset view is beautiful. You'll find rabbits, ducks, seagulls at least. It's a good walk for your dog too. Ample of parking space.
Beautiful park to walk around. The driftwood is very cool, the areas are very clean, and everything is well-maintained. It's really a great gem in Seattle. We walked along the water from one end to another. Lots of people out walking their dogs or taking the children for an outing. Everyone is enjoying nature without needing to leave town. It's striking how clean the water is, and the views across are splendid. If you want to see mountains, this is the place! Highly recommended.
This park is huge been here numerous times throughout the years. The trail loops around the park. This park has beach, sport areas, walking/ running trails , step hills for exercise, covered & uncovered picnic areas with grills for all types of gatherings, Coleman pool , a few playgrounds for all ages even a zip line, lots of parking. It is well maintained even the bathroom are clean.
For a municipal park, wow. There are so many different experiences available here depending on; where you park, how you choose to come in, which trail &/or route. Are you wanting to have a barbecue are you wanting to splash in the Sound... you're likely to easily find a little secluded forested area nestled within the urbanity of Seattle. Read a book, get still, listen...
Fantastic water views, pebbly beaches to walk along, lots of seals and rabbits to see, and plenty of bathrooms and picnic areas. Even has some swings for kids.
Nice big park. A bit of litter, but not too terrible. Things seemed a little bit rundown, but were still working. The shore is pebbly, so no real sand to play in but there's tons of access. We did not go to the playground or the swimming pool.
