Beautiful scenic park with a community garden adjacent to a dog park for small and large canines, as well as scenic views of Seattle and tree lines among little hills. Very nice place to visit.
Our Jaxx’s favorite dog park. He was only with us 2 1/2 years but absolutely made all kinds of buddies and fun memories at Westcrest.
This park is a beautiful spot that supports small dogs, big dogs, all dogs and wilderness hiking in a suburb. It is a massive well kept plot of land that has a play place for your kids and a community garden thats very well kept. 9/10
This is just one of the dozens of nature enclaves within the city. Westcrest Park offers solitude, meadows and forest filled with rare plants and flowers not seen in other parts of the country. Dog areas where the canine friends can run and somersault at their hearts content. Community gardens where citizens can plant and tend a bounty of fresh and healthy vegetables for a minimal yearly membership cost. Wide walkways for running or walking or sitting in its strategically placed benches, gaze at the mountains and hillside neighborhoods and at the same time watch planes descend by the minute to the city's world class airport. Playground for the kids and comfort station are also a feature in the Park. And, it is clean! hardly any trash to mar its beauty.
A fantastic dog park. A place to forage mushrooms, a community garden as well. It is a little rough around the edges but a a great municipal park.
Good park! Spacious fields and a playground. HUGE dog park with fenced in walking trail, agility course, and open spaces. Community garden and bathroom. Hiking trails that go into n urban forest. Playground: Mix of equipment. Big climbing dome and ziplines. Dog-friendliness: Dog Park!
This park was designed by the Olmsted brothers circa 1930. It includes a field with a subterranean reservoir at one of the highest places in the city. The FAA/SeaTac has some radio antennas situated there given the elevation. People fly R/C planes around sometimes which is super cool. It’s also the only off leash area in West Seattle, for now. Dog-friendliness: The only Off Leash Area in West Seattle, for now.
Beautiful dog park! It's definitely worth the drive. Wear your walking shoes, it's a good size place! Highly recommend. Will be back :
One of only a few in Seattle that can boast having an off-leash dog park and a kids playground on site. There's also plenty of open grass field surrounding the playground for the ball kickers and catchers. So much so that I wish they'd used some of it to make the playground a little bigger. Still, perfect for anyone with kids and/or four-legged friends.
Trails, dog park and playground - what more could a park have? Very large dog park with separate area for small/shy dogs and perimeter trails and shaded area with watering spot. Updated drainage seems to have limited some parts of the park and more rocks/dirt than grass/dirt added on perimeter walk. Friendly dogs and approachable owners.
