The Lincoln Theater is the oldest operating movie theater in the Midwest, opening in 1921. The theater has plenty of historic charm, paired with modern image and audio quality. The popcorn is delicious and they regularly add new things to their menu. I love that they started hosting concerts, it adds a lot to the Belleville community and the auditorium is built for exactly that. The seats aren't the most comfortable and it can be a little difficult maneuvering through rows of seats in the upstairs theaters. Prices are very affordable, especially on Tuesday nights. Unsure if they still offer birthday parties, but I attended one when I was a kid in the basement of the theater after watching a movie with the party.
The Lincoln Theater has excellent prices in comparison to competitors. The theater has a few recent updates, but also still has the nostalgic feeling from the good ol days. Some of the theater options are not handicap accessible.
Its a good place to get up close to your favorite band or singer. Plus usually an autograph afterwards. Better then a stadium.
This theatre is quite nice! Very clean. I didn't take any pictures of it just as the theatre, I was there to see a Rock show Foghat to be exact. Seats were comfortable, good leg space. We decided to go back and see a movie one day.. it would be worth it!
The band Foghat was at the Lincoln theater and everything was awesome, we need more band's like that to see for some great times.
Always a great experience....saw Rocky Horror Picture Show with KSHE 95.... plus I'm still in awe with the fact that my Great Grandfather was one of the first projectionists for the Lincoln theater
I love this place. It's old. It has original or close to original architecture. Prices are affordable. It's not as comfy as the newer theaters but I don't drop $60-$100 at a movie. The staffs friendly and the bathrooms are clean.
Best bang for your buck from a theater. Tickets and concessions are very affordable. Not the most comfortable seating and theaters are pretty small. Family friendly movies are a blast there.
The Lincoln Theater needs a very good, deep cleaning, minor repairs to the steps going up, and ceiling damage probably from a roof leak. Still a good venue to watch a movie. Reasonably priced and worth the price.
If you are looking for an awesome old school movie feel. This is the place to go! I love everything about this theatre and you its under $30 for tickets for a family of 4 !
