We always enjoy our camping experience at KOA campgrounds. This one was a great experience for our 6 year old granddaughter as it was filled with kids and we were right near the playground and she could go over and play without us hovering over her. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Store was well stocked. Pool was refreshing and very clean. Enough activities to keep you busy. Nearby activities: Lots to do
This has to be the nicest campground I have ever visited. Extremely friendly, always see a staff member cleaning and making sure everything is just right. Very refreshing! We will return!
The staff is incredible. They were friendly and helpful whenever we needed something. The amenities for the kids were fine; playground, truck ride, bounce pad, etc........the cabins are absolutely terrible. Easily one of the worst experiences I've ever had sleeping somewhere and I served in the military. The cabins are basically just sheds with a bunk bed. No AC just a fan or 2 because that helps when it's 90+ degrees with 60%+ humidity. The sites are right on top of each other whether it's a cabin, rv, tent, etc. We opened the windows to the cabin for any relief at night and because of how close you are to each other the neighbor's campfire smoke wafted over to us and came right in. The things they call beds in the cabins dont qualify to be called beds. It was basically a quarter inch foam wrapped in some sort of plastic. If youre ok sticking to it and taking hours to fall asleep then this is the site for you. Weve stayed at a bunch of campgrounds and cabins and the feeling this cabin gave me was "deal with it." Quiet hours were fairly well respected. The kids enjoyed it until it was bed time because they were sweating at bed time because again...the cabins can't be bothered to have even a portable ac in there......the food, activities, and service were all fine. But again the cabins were just awful and that's being polite. I contemplated sleeping in my truck and that's not hyperbole. I see the owner or manager likes to respond to negative comments and please understand I hate leaving negative reviews. If you would like to call or email me I would be happy to discuss it with you.
We have been coming here for several years and love it here! One of our favorite campgrounds. Super safe for the kids - very well maintained - & the staff is great. Would recommend over and over againService: 5/5
They upcharged us the minute we checked in even though we were paid in full months ago! Someone in our group paid over 180 for a weekend tent site with a "community" water spigot! The owners were up everyone's butt while camping looking for things to upcharge you on! The people I camped with were great but I will never camp here again! Place is a rip off that's dated! Nearby activities: The river was nearby and the only saving grace.
We stayed here this past weekend, took our camper and four dogs for the first time! Everyone was so friendly, and a very dog friendly campground. We had a spot right near the dog park to let the dog play. The staff was very friendly, and the camp ground was very clean! Thanks again for a wonderful weekend! We will be back!Service: 5/5
One of the cleanest campgrounds I've been too , very small , plenty for kids to do , cute game room with pool table as well as several board games ECT , stuff for toddlers to play with, very quiet, we stayed in a small cabin, typical set up for koa , very close together, but i find all koas are this way, didnt use most amenties due to weather , overall I'd say one of the better campgrounds I've visited , just wish sites were not so crammed and had more of a camping vibe
Have traveled the country and one of the best KOAs. Perfect Basecamp for exploring the White Mountain area. Had extended stay due to business and the staff was amazing. Nearby activities: At the gateway to the White Mountain National Forest area....not enough space to state all the amazing things to see and do here.
Great place staff is super nice and willing to go out of there to help with anything cabin is super clean and the grounds are kept up super well.. loved itRooms: 5/5
Nice campground, friendly staff. We camped with a group, none of us had any issues. Kids had fun playing on the jump pad and the playground. Depending on your site, you can hear the highway noise but it wasn't a deal breaker. Bathroom were very clean, and camp had trash pick up which was great. Our site was just power and electric, the power box was a nice set up. I gave it 4 stars because the dump station was poorly located where I would be blocking off a road while dumping, and on a Sunday morning when everyone is leaving, blocking the road off wasn't an option.
