Quechee Gorge

There's a bridge form where you can take beautiful pictures of the gorge. Even though there's a green fence that stands rather out but it's there for protection and to avoid people from jumping off the bridge, I suppose, you can still take nice photos through the holes and there are cutouts made for that. Also, the gift shop nearby has also some nice items and it's not expensive.

Small little hike down to the gorge. May be difficult for some to get to the water and the hike back is all uphill. The water is super refreshing but some maneuvering across rocks is required. Make sure to already have your swimming gear on if you plan to get in the water because there is no place to change.

Beautiful views from the gorge. Back in 2017 they didn't have the green protection railing and that made the experience even more wonderful. There is a trail which we didn't take but apparently it's even more beautiful from the top of the gorge.

I was lucky enough to visit on a perfect weather day and there were no other visitors while I was exploring. Paths were nice and wide and well maintained

A must see when you pass this way! Even on a gray spring day the Quechee Gorge sheds light. We are locals and this is a regular trek year round. It’s wonderful to take note of the seasonal changes and today’s roaring river was a most welcome greeting.

A beautiful sight when you see it from the bridge but it gets better once you see from beneath! There is a trail leading to bottom of the gorge through the woods a 10-15 min walk and the views from there was amazing. We went there during the summer but believe it would have been even better during fall with the foliage. There is a visitor center too and the hike to the gorge from the road was lovely too.

Most beautiful peaceful hike on the face of the Earth. Walk back up is steep and challenging. But there are benches for resting. River rocks are slippery so good traction on sandals is necessary

Worth a stop if it is on your way, but nothing worth for a detour. Not much you can do rather than just walk the bridge which can take 2/3 mins

Awsome view trails are very well kept.

There is a spot on the bridge to look out and take pictures. However, I'd highly recommend doing the walking paths if you get the chance. They aren't too bad of hike and provide some beautiful views of the dam and gorge.
