Sam and his team at Line-X Crystal Lake take unreasonable requests and create masterpieces. I would highly recommend anyone looking for services Line-X provide to do so here. Brought in a Toyota Corolla 2019 with 58k miles and I feel confident that it will not rust away in the Midwest area.
Bottom Line Up Front - stop reading reviews and book your job with Great Lakes Line-X, you will not regret it. Details to follow: I recently took delivery of a 2021 F150 PowerBoost, every option I wanted except for spray-in bedliner. Finding no local installers, I made the decision to drive an hour from home to have these guys do the job. I spoke with Sam about scheduling, and when he found out I was coming from near Rockford, he said he would get the truck in first thing the morning of appointment, in and out, no worries. Just over an hour of waiting, and I was back in my truck headed home, these guys keep their word and the results speak for themselves see photos. Truck bed looks better than if it had been done as a factory option, I couldn’t be happier. Also worth mentioning- no upsell whatsoever. I went with the Line-X Premium, and once I got there, I asked about the Platinum option. Sam discussed it with me, and said he didn’t know that it was another $100 well-spent in my case. Again, you just don’t find customer service like this. Thanks again!
I had no idea this place did so much more than bed liners! Jay & Sam were both very personable friendly and informative. The liner came out beautifully! Can't wait for the bed covers to come as I will be heading back to buy one and have them install it! Highly recommend this place for many of you truck needs and accessories.
Brought a pair of Rock sliders in for my new 2023 4Runner to get the line-X treatment , said no problem even though it was not bought from them . They even suggested that they could also install them . Worked with me on my changing schedule. Quoted me a great price and honored it . The most friendly people place, and yes this place is one stop shopping !!!!!! Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!!
A+ experience working with Sam. Very professional. Straight forward with answers to questions I had. Quality work. Looks great. Most importantly THEY DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY'RE GOING TO DO. I don't know about the other Line-X locations but this one I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I love my new retractable cover and spray bedliner done at Line-X. It is very professionally done and it looks like I bought the truck like that. Excellent service and very fast installing time. I highly recommend Line-X for any truck accessories for trucks. I'm a very happy customer
I had the Crystal Lake Linex guys spray both bumpers, my grille, my rocker panels, and lower side / fender panels, door panels, and undercoat the entire truck. They paint-to-matched the lower side / fender panels which gives an insanely cool contrast due to material difference. The undercoat was protective because it is a four year old truck. There was some rust and breakdown happening and they cleaned it up and coated it so it looks brand new. Ben said it would be "Showroom Quality" when it was done. He was right! If you have a truck and plan on keeping it for years and years and want to avoid any type of rust / warranty issues with the truck companies covering/not covering due to tough weather, I would highly recommend calling Ben and the Crystal Lake Linex shop. Thanks again for taking care of us Ben!
Line X did an amazing job lining the bed of our truck! The work was perfect and the customer service was amazing. Sam was incredibly helpful and was able to answer all of my questions and alleviate any concerns I had. The bed liner is amazing, great for all our home projects. 10/10 would recommend everyone to go to Crystal Lake Line-X
Ben, Sam and Team are GREAT! Many years back they installed an airlift system on my truck. The system worked flawless, made such a big difference pulley a large enclosed trailer. Just returned today for another system on my new truck, won’t go anywhere else for this type of system. If you are looking to add an airlift system for towing purposes don’t hesitate to call this team, they will take great care of you and your truck!
Although Line-X is a large corporation, each location is different. Ben, the local owner of Line-X Crystal Lake, is a true believer in superior customer service, fair pricing and honest quality work. The entire team of professionals at this local business really makes each customer feel like family. They are always willing to stand behind their work and there is no project too big or too small for these guys. There is an overwhelming amount of support in the community for the incredible attention to detail and quality work they put out on each and every job. These are the only guys I would truly recommend If you are looking to enhance, protect or modify your truck. Whether you are local or not, Crystal Lake Line-X is worth the wait or the drive to have things done the right way the first time.
