Absolutely great place to stay. The pool is clean and cool all summer, Mike is always on the lawn mower keep the place immaculate and Deb is always asking us if we need change for laundry which is spotless as well. Sites are very easy to leveled, ground is basically leveled. Spaces campsites, I can put both our gravity chairs and dog pen outside without feeling crowded. Close to the highways and their is no loud noise at night or during the day with the highway. This is hands down one of the best places we stay at long term since my wife is a travel nurse and we move to a different state every three months, If we ever come back to this area this if the first place I will stay hands down.
Nice little campground just off the highway. Well maintained with full hookups. Gravel sites, fairly level. Pool and game room with planned activities. Nice playground. Clean bathrooms. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Far enough from the highway to mute the road noise, but there is a gas station and hotel next door with quite a bit of traffic. Would definitely recommend it. We will probably stay here again.
Stopped by on our way through for one night. It is close to the highway, which was a convenience for us. Wry friendly staff and beautiful accommodations with a pool. Best campground bathrooms I have ever had. Definitely recommend. Only $36 for full hook-up. Amazing!Rooms: 5/5
Nice quick stop off 80. We were escorted to our spot even after 6 pm! Nicely kept grounds with permanent people situated on the other loop, which was fine. Thanks you for the hospitality!Service: 5/5
This is a great overnight spot. Our site was nice and level and easy to get in and out of. The people who run the campground are super nice. A great place to visit is the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library. It is very interesting to know more of the history of our country and the presidents. To get in the campground go to the 2nd drive as the first takes you into the gas station from which you can also enter the campground but the lot is full of holes and very dusty.
has a french its surpassing my expectation!! Employees are super dupper nice, place is spotless, pool is big, the pull throw are amazing, free wifi is available, laundry room is clean and works perfectly, welcoming from the employees when we arrive is unreal.. You cannot ask better than to be served by these people... I might go to Nashville, St-Louis, Memphis etc.. at one point and looking to see if I could come back to this campground and spend more time.. Strongly recommend this place..
Just wanted to say that I had an exceptional experience here at this campground. Very nice campground, nice sites, great people, etc. The owners, and Mike the Camp Host were exceptionally helpful in getting me back on road after getting a flat tire driving from New Mexico to Michigan and stopped there overnight enroute. I would recommend this campground to anyone traveling. Thank you again for all your assistance with the flat and recommending where to go to get it repaired on a Sunday afternoon of the 4th of July weekend. All my best. Best regards, Mark Horsley of West Michigan
I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS CAMPGROUND AND THE OWNERS WHO OPEATE IT!!! The owner, Mike, and his wife have to be two of the nicest folks I've met in a long time. My wife and I stopped through here a couple times last year on way to Wyoming and Montana and then again this year going to and from the Black Hills area. When we arrived a week and half ago on our way to the Black Hills, my rig broke a slide as we were setting up for the night. As a severe thunderstorm was rolling in, Mike stayed with me working to fix the issue as it got dark and sever weather was looming...not may owners, managers or especially employees would do that. Between the two of us and a mobile service tech, Glen, we were able to get the slide repaired. This will be a regular stop when we pass through this area from now on...no questions about that! I know that we've made friends here at Little Bear with the owners. They are truly great folks and they operate a great campground! Thank you, Mike!!
A hidden gem on I-80. Super nice hostess. A well-kept campground, clean pool, restrooms, and laundry. This place was very quite and peaceful. We will be back.Rooms: 5/5
Okay place to pitch a tent. Extremely well maintained and clean. Could walk to convenience store. Would be better if tent camping was near the restrooms, but area well lit for walking at night. Highway noise was a bit loud.Rooms: 4/5
