I had a reservation this past weekend and it was a terrible experience there was no bounce trampoline as shown and stated and only donuts in the morning on Saturday at a charge only yogi was there no other kids were present just my son. The woman that was with yogi was talking about non child related issues. We stayed Friday and Saturday night. The bathrooms were disgusting toilets clogged floors were soaked and there was no toilet paper in them. definitely not attended to. When my husband told the front desk they said it must have been after they closed but that same night there was a burn ban on Saturday night 20 miles away and 2 people on a golf cart and orange reflective wear approached us to tell us we were not allowed to have a camp fire. The reservation was for 4 people there were only 2 chairs by the fire. There were spiders in our tent. This was definitely not one of my favorite experiences. I have known people to stay in other sites and they always have a great time. This is why this has been on my list of places to be. Fortunately The golf cart idea was cool but not allowed to drive at night. We have done glamping several places and always enjoyed our stay roughing it but this was just insane.
Great little campground in a beautiful area. Reasonable rates; has 2 pools, clean restroom/shower rooms, camp store/souvenir shopthey sell ice cream here too, and a snack bar with pizza&wings. I do wish the snack bar was open later, but i know they are currently short staffed. Our stay was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed.
We stayed in a clamping tent for 2 nights and the weather was about 38 degrees at night. The heaters that were provided were not sufficient enough to keep the tent even remotely warm. When we talked to the front desk about this issue we were treated very appithetically almost as if we were a bother and that we were making it worse than it was. The thing was our parents stayed in another clamping tent and there heat worked fine the whole time. This issue really does need to be resolved. Especially for the price we paid to rent the tent. And it would be nice to have better customer service and nicer people at the front desk.
The proximity to everything is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Full hookups. Back in spots only. The spots are very crowded and not very level. For reference i have a 28 ft trailer. The spot I had is very misrepresented online. It says there is a space for a picnic table. The table was on the slope of a hill. It was unusable. Fire pits are allowed. This was a wonderful way to unwind after a long day. They have two separate pools. There are washers and dryers. I would not recommend using them. You have to download an app to pay for the machines. They are also managed by someone other than the campground. We had problems with them and never got our money back. Also, the campground doesn't even care to help out with any issues.
I’m going to start with campground pros. The front office staff was exceptionally personable and responsive to questions. The internet was the best we’ve had at any campground. You can’t beat the location and proximity to Dollywood if you plan on going during your visit. They offer concrete pads and multiple bathhouses. Now for the cons…this campground is a big rig nightmare. It took us 45 minutes to wedge our 40 foot camper in to our assigned site. There was no room to park our truck, which was in part due to other campers being forced to park in the street because sites are so short. The bathrooms were in really rough shape. The pet park is perched on top of hill which is not easily accessible for the elderly or special needs.
This is not what I would expect when paying for a Jellystone Park. There were 2 small pools, which were never very clean. The spaces were very small and close together. There are trees, but they're only behind the RV's, not between. The bathrooms were constructed in a way that makes no sense. They are shower/bathroom combos, and each is private, which is nice. But there was no drain other than in the shower. The shower curtains were too short, so water poured onto the floor. If you walk into the bathroom after someone has showered, hoping to just use the toilet, you have to be careful not to slip on the water. Also, the hooks for towels are nowhere near the actual shower, forcing you to walk across the wet floor to get your towel. And if the showers were all full there was no toilet available! There were 2 very small and unimpressive playgrounds, and one very dusty and dingy bounce pad that was far away from anything else. There were no activities, and really not much to do around the campground. If you're just looking for a place to stay while visiting all the insanely priced amusements around Pigeon Forge then this place will suffice. But if you're hoping for a campground that is fun and entertaining on its own, keep looking. The staff was kind, but the facilities left a LOT to be desired.
Zero stars. Shady people. I called intending to cancel a reservation but was told I would get no refund. That was not how I read the cancellation policy so when I was asked if I wanted camp credit I said no I am going to read the cancellation policy again and if I didn’t misread things I may have to dispute the chardge with my credit card. When I went to the policy, I saw that they cancelled my reservation without my approval. When I called back to inquire, I was told that I said I was going to dispute so they cancelled the reservation. THEY cancelled, not me so I should be due a refund but was not given one. Don’t walk rather run from this campground. Untrustworthy and RUDE. We were not even given the credit for the money we spent. This is the least they could do.
Don't be fooled by the 5 star review I put it as 5 stars because I want other people to see this, we stayed in the cabins, cabins 5, 6, and 7 to be exact, our visit was from 8/15/22 to 8/19/22 the park was alright if you like small places the fishing "pond" is more of a large mud puddle with tiny fish, the cabins were kinda small for the price and there was things damaged in the cabin before we got there we are now being charged for, in cabin 7 the bedroom door handle was broke and there was several holes in the door plus the door wouldn't close, the towel holder in the bathroom broke 3 different times when I tried hanging a towel and I fixed it every time I finally quit using it, in cabin 6 the bunk bed was falling apart the wood on the bottom of the top bunk was coming off plus the air conditioners in cabins 5 and 6 didn't work well, we think there was bed bugs in cabins 6 and 7 because we would wake up with bug bites but we never seen any bed bugs, if you decide to stay here take pictures and report ANY damages as soon as you check in so your not charged for things you didn't do, definitely will not be returning to this jellystone, the jellystone in Golden Valley, North Carolina is a million times better. I DO NOT post negative reviews. As a Google reviewer, I usually just pass on the businesses that aren't my favorite, but I am pretty irritated about our experience here.
We took our daughter here for a weekend getaway and to celebrate our daughter's 14th birthday in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. This was our very first time Glamping! The Yogi BearJellystone Park made this The Most Perfect adventure! We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The Tent was so adorable, clean, all 3 beds were comfortable. Just like a hotel stay, the provided towels, wash cloths, coffee/coffee maker, travel shampoo, conditioner and soap bars. The shower rooms are NICE, all private and were very clean. My daughter loved the fact that a golf cart was included with our stay. It was great to ride back and forth the short distance to the shower rooms and to just drive around to see all the park has to offer. Booking was super quick and easy via phone. We had a late checkin meaning after 8pm and our paperwork and key to golf cart was conveniently located exactly where they said it would be. To check out we simply dropped off the key. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We WILL return!! They also have tiny adorable cabins and the camp sites are very nice. I loved the fact each campsite had its own potted flower. Thank you for a great experience for my daughter's birthday and we also appreciate the Military Discount you offer.
when I entered the park the employees weren't very friendly or welcoming it was clear they were just doing what they had to do. I was escorted to my site. I was traveling by myself I thought they may have helped be back in , but they didn't the sites are pretty wide anyway so I didn't have an issue. The campsites have very nice concrete pads and the site I was at was pretty level. After dropping my camper off I was heading back out... I wasn't aware that it was one way nor was I told , but as one of they employees drive by on a golf cart he yelled out you are going the wrong way. My windows were up on my diesel and I still heard him lol. I thought the professional thing would have been to put out his hand and stop and tell me , but that's just me .
