This is the official Facebook page of the Livermore Police Department (the “Department”) in the city of Livermore (the “City”), CA. This site is intended to serve as a means of communication between the public and the Department. The purpose of this page is to communicate public safety information in an effort to inform residents, and other fans of the Department about the latest news, activities, services and educational programs it has to offer.
Please do not use our Facebook page to report criminal activity that requires a police response. If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1. To report a non-emergency or suspicious activity, please call 925-371-4987 which will allow you direct access to our Dispatch Center.
This Facebook page is NOT monitored 24/7. Please do not leave information regarding in progress crimes. This page is monitored and managed by members of the Department’s Social Media Team during regular business hours.
Before posting on this page, please review these terms:
• A posting on this page constitutes acceptance of these terms.
• Do not use this page to report a crime.
• Posting information related to a crime on this page, is not deemed anonymous. You may be contacted by a Police Employee if you are a witness to a crime.
• “Liking” between the Livermore Police Department and a citizen does not indicate endorsement of that person’s actions or comments.
• This site shall not contain any of the following, and the Department reserves the right to remove comments containing any of the following elements as soon as possible:
a. Comments that are not topically related to the particular posting being commented upon.
b. Vulgar language, including graphic, obscene, explicit, racist or sexist comments.

m. Personally identifiable or sensitive information, including medical information.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Department is not obligated to take such actions, and the Department and the City disclaim any and all responsibility and liability for materials deemed inappropriate for posting which cannot be removed in an expeditious and otherwise timely manner.
