Each May, during National Police Week, officers & survivors from across the nation converge in New Jersey and begin the 300 mile bike ride into DC, honoring our fallen. Monies raised benefits the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund
Founded in 1997, the Police Unity Tour started humbly with 18 riders, raising $1800 for the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. Since then, the Tour continues to grow: In 2015, over 1800 riders participated and presented a check for 1.9 million dollars to the Memorial Fund.
Each May during National Police Week, officers and survivors from across the Nation (and even from other countries) converge in New Jersey and begin the 300 mile bicycle journey into Washington DC - raising support and awareness for officers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The Police Unity Tour has become the largest supporter of the National Law Enforcement Memorial Fund. All monies raised supports this fund and is helping build the NLEOM Museum, due to open in 2013.
