Where do I begin! Top notch service. Upon Setting up my appointment to view the apartments, I was read it over the phone by leasing agent Robert Weigand. Right off the bat, his charisma, knowledge and passion to provide new residents with the best experience was apparent. My family and I showed up to the appointment late due to traffic and he still made time to give us a full tour and carefully answer all of our questions regarding the property. To give you context… I am moving my entire life from Atlanta Georgia. Robert went ABOVE AND BEYOND to communicate personally with me every day until my move in. He answered even the smallest questions and was always available by phone or email. Best of all, there was a point where I forgot what my unit looked like and he personally went into the unit took photos and even sent me a video! Again, top notch. It is evident that Robert will go far with this company. And I am very pleased that the other leasing agents seem just as eager to help the residents. Lastly, my parents felt very good about leaving me there. We were told by residents that they absolutely love their stay. They describe the complex as professional, quiet, and most importantly safe. They have security that will ask for you if you requested. My parents loved that. As a new resident, I was extremely impressed and will update as I go. Thanks Robert and the Living at NoHo staff!
The maintenance is quick, and the office staff is friendly enough but can’t really do anything to help. The utilities keep going up like trash is expensive here because they charge per tenant. I have had multiple packages stolen and things off my patio stolen as well. You will 100% hear your neighbors. Top and side doesn’t matter, you hear everything. Its a total scam when it comes to the other amenities. The pool is listed as a heated pool on the website which is barely. The pool is set to 72 degrees by the pump which does not seem to be the case for the pool itself which seems nice but your common heated pool is between 78 and 82 so don't expect to have a leisurely nice swim, because in the winter its even colder. literally 5 degrees warmer than the beach here in summer which needs a wet suit in the summer..... the hot tub is apparently leaking so it makes this gurgling sound all the time because they can't keep the right amount of water in it, also is never hot, at best its a nice 90 something degrees on the lower end, sometimes I have gone in there and it is even lower think 80s. So if those are your selling points then I would find somewhere else.
I really enjoyed living here. The location really added to the value of my stay. There are two major grocery chains within walking distance: Ralph's and Amazon Fresh; a Walgreen's, a Big Lots, a post office about 12-15 minutes up Lankershim, and a whole array of restaurants right across the street! This was a huge plus for me; there were night I didn't want to cook or spend on DoorDash. A walk across the street to pick up food was always a pleasant experience. There are plenty of places to eat on Lankershim as well, but across the street is a lot closer than 2+ blocks away. There's hardly any parking available on the street so I am deeply grateful for the assigned parking spaces each resident has. Although I did not own a car, I would rent one often enough to know that value of having that parking spot. There are Amazon lockers in all of the buildings - particularly in Milano where I lived, there were two. So whenever I had packages delivered I did not have to worry about missing a delivery [both Amazon and carriers beyond that]. I never had issues with requesting maintenance in the event I needed it; the team was always responsive. I also loved that I could access my building from different points on the block using my FOB to gain access. The security team was always friendly and accessible via phone when needed. I never had an issue with my neighbors and am glad I got to enjoy the sitting area on the roof by the pool when none of the residents would be around. The view from the rooftop is peaceful. It wasn't often but in the times I needed the peace to most, I had the whole area to myself. Shout out to the cleaning staff - I think they're awesome for all of the hard work they do to keep the building clean. Lastly, my deepest of gratitude to the leasing office/Shonda and team. From the look and lease experience down to move out, I cannot thank them enough for their patience and being attentive.
We just signed on for our second year. We love it here and love the area as well. I saw some reviews about the roaches - sure, they were a problem on and off in our first year but the leasing office was responsive about it and we haven't had any trouble recently. I will say we don't love how the utilities are metered, as they are not based on each apartment's individual usage. Other than that, no complaints. The office has been nothing but lovely - which was a huge incentive for us to renew. Richard, Sofia, and Elise sp? have been a joy to work with especially.
We are entering our 3rd month here. We have now had to have two roach treatments because they were not done prior and the building has a very well known issue as the office indicated AFTER we moved in & filed a complaint. The inconvenience of having to move everything to have this done feels like we've just moved in every time. The security is lacking. I've emailed the office with no response to advise on multiple non-residents entering the facility. A homeless man jumped in the pool with all of his clothes on as the pool is not secure & people just let anyone walk in the main doors. There is also a female who gets ready in the bathrooms by the pool for hours who clearly does not live here because that area is also not secure. The hot tub at the pool is closed due to covid but looks filthy. Keeping it closed is fine but, clean it up. I feel like we pay a lot of money for the lack of security & the very big inconvenience of having to have treatments two months in a row. I would've loved for them to disclose that there was even an issue in the first place. I've lived in a city before so I understand roaches happen however, it's so bad here someone has to come EVERY week to treat the building.
Pros: - Placed in a good part of Noho, plenty of restaurants nearby. - Apartments are pretty nice! - Shared community spaces are really useful. - Pool/hot tub. - Management are pretty good. Especially Sophia, she's always been friendly and helpful. - Dog friendly! - Amazon locker is in the lobby for any order you'll make. - Gym included - Really tall ceilings if you get a top floor apartment - Decent sized balconies Cons: - Elevators break frequently. - Pool is nice, but super shallow. - My bike was stolen whilst in the secure parking garage. - Gym is okay.. I would recommend you keep your current gym subscription and use this part time. - You're not allowed to personalise your balcony if your apartment faces the street, which is a shame because it's a part of our home which we pay for.
We recently moved from Miami to Los Angeles and finding a home in such a massive city could be daunting and a bit scary. Enter our first encounter with Sophia - what a pleasure. She helped us through the whole process. It took about 1 month to process everything and eventually once all papers were signed we set off cross country for our new life. We received the keys to our new home and couldn’t be happier. Throughout our time there any maintenance issues or problems were quickly resolved. In terms of location the building is in a great walkable spot in North Hollywood. Even if you don’t feel like walking there’s an entire city within reach to fill your heart’s content. No apartment building is ever 100% perfect but Living at NOHO is clearly a great place to call home. The staff is attentive and the building is always well maintained. We’ve enjoyed our time there and recommend it to whoever is looking for a great unit in an even better location.
Don’t live here. Once they book you, they don’t care about you. They used to have a great management team and now their team puts minimal effort into everything. They don’t help with the mail lockers or lost packages and my key has been getting stuck in my door for months now with no resolution.
Not a luxury apartment AT ALL. First off there are HUGE roaches and they do not up hold the law by spraying or treating the apartment. I’ve lived here for almost 9 month and I’m still waiting. Obviously we went and treated the apartment ourself. Everything in the building is broken elevators always down. Pool and gym hasn’t been open due to COVID, but homeless people are still enjoying the common areas and management isn’t doing anything about it. Leasing office is extremely rude and one of them even tried to walk in our apartment at one time she was going to view the apartment next door but went to ours on accident, I understand it’s easy to mix up but with my toddler in the apartment it’s not OK. She was very rude about her mistake and wasn’t apologetic at all. In fact when you call the office and she pics up she’s incredibly rude and as a caller you feel like your disrupting her day. Very unprofessional I wish they would get rid of her. Her name is Gloria :
All that glitters ain't gold. My girlfriend and I needed to move out of West Hollywood to find a place more low key since we are about to have a baby. We needed a place with 2 bedrooms and close to work. This place fit the criteria and there was a lot of cool restaurants within walking distance. Boy did we make a mistake. We visited on a Sunday morning so it was peaceful and quiet. Well the natives must have been resting because we have seen a different side of this place. Like other reviews mention it is filled with a lot of young people. Everyday music is blasting and my apartment smells like cigarettes from Neighbors smoking. This morning I was woken up at 4:30 AM do to music blasting and people yelling. I understand being young and it's fun to party but it's very disrespectful to other people that live here. The worst part is it seems like the management could care less. I have not seen one security guard since i moved in. Almost every day I see people who are homeless hanging out inside the building. Another big issue is the smell. It reeks of sewage outside and in the parking garage. My car smells like sewage all day when I'm at work. We were assured when we visited that it was an anomaly but talking to other tenants it seems like it has been this way for awhile. If you like a non stop "Spring Break" then this is the place for you. If you have an actual job or kids then stay away. We are very disappointed.
