You might see scouts here now and then. And seeing as I am close to being an eagle scout, i say that lodge park has great wildlife and biodiversity. I like to go there whenever I can because because it's a very cool local place to go. There is fun little trails and longer trails that you can bring kids, dogs, bikes, and horses on. It's great for everyone Playground: Great playground for kids. Sandy tho. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly. Picnic area: The picnic areas are nice little places to go with however many people you have. They also have little fire grilly like thingies at each area.
Very low key and quiet. Pets welcome on LEASH! Beautiful trees and scenery!
Simple yet just enough for your daily needs. Has options to camp, and a paved/gravel road throughout that is about 1 mile long with side trails for hiking. Other inclusions: lake with benches, fishing options & horse trails however I personally don't condone animal abuse or exploitation, playground, 2 locations for bathrooms, trash cans, parking, picnic tables, open areas for yard sports/games, and spots to cook over a fire. Road is closed to vehicles through winter until April 1st, however foot activities and biking is still allowed. Wildlife can include birds, squirrels, deer, etc. Please be kind to them this is their home! Also keep in mind my photos represent the wet & muddy season.
It was great to see the fireworks. We go every year. Great time with family and friends. Clean park . Lots of restrooms.
Awesome trails! Had some cool finds while walking the river bed. Couple arrowheads and lots of interesting rocks.
Great park, lots of plants and wildlife. Also has a railroad going straight through it which is really cool!
We always have fun here on the 3rd of July! Great vendors, music , and fireworks! Fills up fast after 5pm
Quiet, peaceful, shaded spot for a nice walk.
We went for the fireworks display. Overall, the park seems very nice. The bathrooms could use some updating and toilet paper!
Really nice park. Playground for the kids, lots of picnic tables and places to cook. Benches all over to sit and relax. There is a small pond where you can enjoy fishing too. They also have camping spots so you can enjoy the park overnight.
