Food was hot, delicious, and fast. Beer was ice cold. The waitress was wonderful. The chicken pot pie was hot and delicious but was a small bowl. Could be bigger. The fish and chips were fantastic. Huge pieces. The nachos were huge and very tasty. The Buffalo chicken wrap was delicious and definitely had a kick.Food: 5/5
The lunch special 1/2 pastrami & a salad. Pastrami on rye is top notch. One of the best sandwiches. Bartenders & wait staff are super cool. Love visiting this place when I’m staying at the Hampton Inn.Recommended dishesPastrami on Rye, Brisket Sandwich, Beer Selection
Convenient location, friendly staff, and good food. What more can you ask for. It cost about $45 for two people on the dinner menu They have a whiskey bar and what appears to be a live stage here but I didn't experience either one of those on this trip. Kid-friendliness: Wide variety on kids menu
First of all, any bar/restaurant that serves Coca-Cola in red tumblers starts off on the right foot. And when it is ice cold-even better. Fun atmosphere and great service. We had the artichoke dip and beef nachos. Solid bar food and will definitely be back.
First time at Lone Oak Bar and Grill. Spacious place. Service was quick and responsive. Wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Food was generally good. A little on the pricier end for the atmosphere. We split an appetizer and a entree and it was more than enough for two. The brisket we had was a little dry. We will definitely try it again in the future.
The brisket sandwich was awful. Dry and chewy. The Mac and Cheese was good. They also need to repair their driveway and parking lot. I’d give it another try but I’d steer clear of their BBQ fare.Food: 3/5
Tuesday happy hour. Excellent service, albeit a little slow at times but that's a reality just about anywhere you go these days. Ordered the turkey bacon club which was incredible. Toasted to perfection and delicious. Fries piping hot and also delicious. Food prices seemed mostly reasonable but our entire table was a little surprised at the beer prices. Everything is more expensive these days but my craft brew Octoberfest was $8. And that's the happy hour discount. Kind of crazy. Great food, but if going out for a beer, this won't be my first choice.
We had a wonderful server, she was attentive and made excellent suggestions. Good beer selection. Food was fine. The reason the food is rated 3 stars is we were really looking forward to the cheese curds and you could taste that the oil was old. Also affected the other fried selections. The Mac cheese was a winner for my husband with suggested additions. It was very convenient to our hotel. The excellent service is why we would return.
Great food and service. The Smoked Dry Rub Wings were amazing! Good selection of draft beers and a decent bourbon menu. Pulled pork and Pastrami sandwich were excellent!Food: 5/5
This place is very busy for being tucked out of the way! While I was still outside I could smell the hickory! Boy did it smell good!!!
