Lonesome Pine Cabins

Absolutely breathtaking, my husband and I look forward to many more trips. It's our new home away from home. The cabins are very clean and the owners are so very nice. The view is gorgeous and so much nature with deer right out front. The cabins are well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The price is right on spot. I can't say enough about how much we truly enjoyed ourselves. Nearby activities: Horse shoe's, grill's,, horse back riding. All over looking the Blue ridge parkway, Safety: What can I say it's so peaceful. Walkability: Nice big area for walking with nature abound.

The screen was falling out of the door and poison was growing into the porch rails. A cleaning fee was charged to my account so I was really surprised when I arrived and there were mouse droppings all over the kitchen counter, dish towels and stove area. There were ants all around the hot tub. I left a day early because I was so uncomfortable in these surroundings and I will never return OR recommend this place to anyone. Most disappointing. It’s sad that this review will only post publicly if I check any stars. The accommodations don’t even deserve one. Noteworthy details: Nothing noteworthy to mention.

My husband and I just stayed over nite it's close to home, the cabin is gorgeous, clean, the staff is very friendly, the price is on point, and the view is amazing, this is now our home away from home, great location and great price, thank y'all so much, cabin #12 and sum have loafsRooms: 5/5

Absolutely gorgeous cabins, in and out. Very comfortable, and the sunrise from the porch was spectacular!! Doesn't stock shampoo, so bring ur own, and ask for directions on how to use the TV remote. Got kinda lost on that one. The fireplace didn't work, but didnt care. The jetted bathtub was great, and relaxing! A great place to stay and worth it!!

After a long days drive what a disappointment with this property. The outdoors are very well kept and beautiful views; however after stepping on the front porch every thing changed. First the screen door was falling off, my husband had to pull it up to be able to close it. I had been told that the unit was ready for our arrival … first impression… what is this? … floors hadn’t been cleaned, bed sheets were full of crumbs, had a blood stain, mattress protector was old and had large stains… the kitchen? totally disgusting… cooktop was full of dry crusted food… when I removed the burners and plates the bottom was rusted, full of old spilled food… there was two bags of leftovers inside the refrigerator, microwave was rusted inside…toaster oven was filthy… I took pictures of everything and send them to Sonja on a text message… minutes later Teena the owner contacted us … she came over to look at the unit and told us it had been a misunderstanding, the cleaning girl hadn’t cleaned the cabin. We had to leave the cabin so she could send the girl back to clean it when we got back after 2 hrs, sheets were changed but stove was not cleaned neither the toaster oven … and surprise we had not towels in the bathroom only one hand towel was left. After a long conversation with Teena the owner without us asking for a refund yet she told us that she is not able to give us a refund back but was going to give us a certificate for 2 future free nights … we stayed for the two nights we had made reservations for, never heard from Teena again. Cabin #6 a disgusting place.

Cabin was so warm and cozy! Owner was very helpful. Very tastefully decorated for Christmas. We will for sure stay again if we make it back to this area. Cabin had all the amenities we were looking for and the price was super reasonable.

Best Cabins on the blue ridge PKWY. Close to chateau Morrisette winery. Close to meadows of Dan that has awesome shops and food Rooms: Each cabin is unique. I love cabin 7. It has private Jacuzzi and a Sona
