Long John Silver's

I have noticed this restaurant turning into the worst long johns silver for the past year. The heat and air conditioning does not work, the food has gone from a 10 to a very generous 2. The place needs to be deep cleaned and remodeled. A better ventilation system. Hopefully the owner doesn't just close the restaurant instead of fixing the store. Long John's silver is one of my favorite places to eat.

Just sat in line for 25 minutes to get food that was terrible. Hush puppies were completely full of grease and so hard..the middle didn't even have a center..seemed like they reheated old ones on grease and logged them..completely unedible..fries were the same way..only saw one person in the building ..I honestly don't think the worker had any help but you cannot serve food like this..we tried going by last week but left when we saw a male worker dipping the fish with his bare hands while playing on his cell phone..management needs to address this store.

It was not like it use to be! No heat except for the 3 little space heaters sitting around. Tables were dirty. Booth seats torn and falling apart. The pop machine was out of some pops, so there were 2 liters sitting next to the pop machine. The food wasn't to bad and the staff was polite but it was hard to enjoy anything because of the conditions of the restaurant.

Great food. Love the LJ A&W combo places. Oil wasn't old and nasty, staff was courteous. My box of cheese curds did end up with a hush puppy in them so I did end up with less cheese curds, star removed for that. Overall, visit was good!

My husband and I made an effort to stop at LJS to eat a quick dinner on our way to Tulsa. First thing we see upon arriving is a sign on the door "our heat is broken". I ordered the ck platter and my husband ordered the fish platter. We are told the pop machine in lobby is frozen. Husband orders a diet DP. Girl brings him diet Pepsi and says they are out or Dr. Pepper. While waiting for food, we hear employees say the time clock is broken. The lobby looks like it had not been swept all day. When food arrives, it is dark colored. VERY VERY greasy. I ate a piece of chicken and then found out the 2nd piece was fish not ck. Girl had rang up wrong platter for me. Husbands fish was so greasy you couldn't hardly eat what little meat there was in the dark crust. I will not go back for a long time now.

They were out of regular shrimp, the root beer dispenser wasn't working , my fish was raw..Had to have it cooked longer...other than that, staff was friendly, coleslaw and hushpuppies were great. First time in all of the years I've been going there that I've had complaints with my food.

It smelled musky. The first was a big sign taped to the counter, "TELL US HOW WR ARE DOING DETAILS ON BACK OF RECEIPT, GET A FREE PIECE OF FISH AND FRIES". THE BACK OF IT WAS BLANK! The fish tasted fine but really greasy & fries were chewy. The salt shaker had something in it that made hard pieces. Thank God nothing come out on my food.

On front door sign said no heat, Didn't get everything we ordered pop dispenser was overflowing 3 out of 6 different drinks were out the AandW root beer the line was frozen. The food tasted like it was yesterday's news. Started getting sick when I got home. Please don't get me wrong but I will never step foot back in that store again. Let me tell you this word of mouth goes a long way.

After ordering and getting my combo fish and chicken meal for 6.69 I noticed a sign saying Sundays all you can eat til 7 for 8.88. I mentioned that she should have offered it since I didn't know, then she said sorry without offering for me to pay the difference if I wanted. I just thought that was crappy.

Heater was out. Fish was overfried. A & W root beer dispenser was out, as were 4 or 5 regular drink dispensers. We got half of the orders we ordered & had to go back & ask for the rest. Terribly disappointed in the whole experience! Will not be going back to the Claremore, OK location! Do you not have standards a franchise has to meet? Epic fail!!
