This Beautiful Park located in Lancaster, PA. Is a very family friendly place with numerous amenities for adults & children alike. Beautiful fountain & Gazebo structures with tons of benches to relax & watch the ducks and enjoy nature. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Several picnic areas that were dog friendly too. The playground areas are well maintained.
We enjoy this park! It's a nice and well maintained park to just walk around the park, picnic, or relax. There's also a little zoo with some animals. There's a lot of picnic areas and benches as well. This park really has it all! And you can even go to their free weekly music festivals in the summer months. Definitely recommend checking it out! For the most part, on the outside, this park looks to be very nice, but don't judge a book by its cover. When my wife and I started walking around the lake , we noticed quickly that the water was an abnormal color and that there was over a dozen dead fish in the water. There may be a lot more to this park, but I can tell you for one that this was a major turn-off to both me and my wife. Longs Park petting zoo is open once again. Fun little free spot to take the kids and explore. There's also a new fancy playground and lake with ducks, great spot to practice bike riding or have a picnic.
The park is beautiful. Several playgrounds, a pond, lots of tables to BBQ at. Not sure how they get the pond water to be bright blue, doesn’t seem very safe for the ducks and fish. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours.
Nice park with plenty of tables around the pond. The wildlife is very used to people we had a squirrel almost jump up on our table while we were eating. We saw a Green Heron as well as the ducks and geese.
Beautiful park, had the privilege to officiant a couple's wedding at the gazebo by the pond . Any outing with the family, for bike rides, picnics and etc.
I absolutely love this little park. The water, the ducks, the beautiful trees... I definitely recommended this place for exercise, families, or romantic walks.
We go to Longs Park all of the time! There are so many things to do. My kids are 2 and 3 years old. Their favorite is the big playground. But you can also go to 3 other small playgrounds. You can go to the pond and feed the ducks. Our favorite thing to do is get some food and have a picnic, and play. The only thing I would change is, they need to re open the petting zoo! Also, the bathrooms seem to never be open. My kids want to go so badly! Other than that, great place!
This park is so awesome for kids! Several playgrounds that are all kept up in good condition. The path around the pond is great for strollers! I came here as a kid, but it's much more kid friendly nowadays!
