Description

Established in 1872, Lorraine Park Cemetery & Mausoleum in Baltimore, Maryland is located next to Gwynn Oak Park and Falls. The grounds feature many unique granite and marble statues and monuments as well as distinctive petrified trees that people travel to in order to photograph. The offices are housed in an 1884 Queen Anne style stone and frame Victorian-style house listed on the national registry of historical homes.

My mother was buried here July 7th 2020 the grounds keepers and management were very patient, pleasant and professional. I visit my mother's grave daily they continue to be very respectful and professional. However, their are some areas in the cemetery that are in need of many repairs the roads, graves hidden by over growth of trees and weeds, mausoleums windows broken out, and gravestones over turned. I've seen these things on my walk around the cemetery.
Every time we go down to visit our lost family members, it always looks like this. Nobody is cutting the grass, it’s swampy, and the grave markers are crooked. How do you own a grave yard with such disrespect for the dead and grieving relatives?
My grandfather was buried on July 26, 2021 in the mausoleum, my grandmother went to visit him today and the plaque paid for by the family already still has not been placed on his tomb. My mom was patient, waited 7 months before calling David and was told she needed to be patient, that he would call her when he had information, he's still not called. My grandmother and mom are so upset. Our family, my grandfather especially, is being disrespected. Yahrzeit is in a month, he doesn't have plaque, we're completely heartbroken. Our lawyer will be called this week. Thank you owner for responding to my review. Of course my family still needs help, the plaque has not been placed on my grandfather's tomb. My family paid your company to handle the details, now I'm being told to email the company? What was the point in paying you? We will contact the company, apparently we'll have to handle it ourselves.
I would like to say a good word for Nathan at Lorraine Cemetery, my daughter & I were visiting my husbands grave last week & we rode around looking for my baby`s grave & he stopped to ask if we needed any help, we told him that my husband grave had two big sink holes in it & we would like to have it taken care of, he followed us back to the grave & he put flags on the grave to have it taken care of. Thank You Nathan.
My parents and brother are buried here and every single time I go visit, my feet sink to my ankles. This is with dry weather as well and my brothers footstone is buried under the mud and has been for the last year!!!! So glad I'm getting cremated. Truly a very sad thing. Not only did I loose both of them together, I now have to put on wading boots just to visit.
Went yesterday to visit loved in the mausoleum. It's was in horrible condition the elevator does not work . Employees told that it's been out of order for 2 years. No heat in mausoleum. I counted 17 windows was boarded up do to vandalism. It's a dicrace peaple paid good money to be there back in the day . It should kept up by propetaial care in stead in there pockets
Very old and green cemetery. Lots of huge old monuments small houses giant crosses Etc. Off Dogwood Road all the way back where the amusement park used to be off the Beaten Track
My 3 sisters and I recently lost our mom. We received excellent service. If you are in need of this service, please consider utilizing them.
If u want to be happy don't burried your love ones here!!! I lost my dad and choose this place and regret it on the day to put my dad to rest my family and I received horrible attitude..since June my dad grace haven't gotten his head stone.
My dad has been buried here for 13yrs and i have always been able to locate his grave site..the grounds are always kept up nice and it's always so peaceful when i go see him.
