The manager is very rude and disrespectful. I was in the store with my friend, I was trying a jacket over my clothes and the manager walks to me, with out saying hi she just said "The jacket has a security tag at the back" me and my friend looked each other and didn't say anything we were really shocked and really didn't know what to say to her, I put the Jacket back and then my friend was trying a coat over her clothes, the manager came to us again and said that she needs to put the Jacket back , I can't believe they let their employees treat customers like that.im disgusted by them.
We generally like to shop here because the price of clothes and how fast my girls go through them offsets each other if you’re looking for high-quality this is not your place but if you’re looking for stylish and affordable clothes then this is The place to shop at south center. I’ve always gotten mediocre help here and have been fine with it however today I feel as though employee number 011100 went out of her way to make me feel unwelcome. She walked up to the register I had a $40 purchase she told me to come to the next register under her breath and I had to grab my products and bring them over I was in school did for putting my card into the card reader when it actually said it was ready to read my card.When did it become appropriate to treat people badly just because you’re having a bad day? I’m not sure I’ll ever be back to spend $40 or four dollars I’ll go across the hallway to forever 21.
First of all I have no words to discribe my horrible experience here. Clearly the owner does not value its customer neither do they care about their products they sell. Mind you I had my receipt and my credit card which showed my statement that I had bought the item. The manager have discriminated me just by the color of my skin and stated that many girls come in with stolen items. I showed the manager my receipt and that I don’t want a refund I would like to simply exchange with another item or the same thing for a size up. She stated that I cannot exchange either since the tag was missing. The tag was already missing when I first originally bought it. It was the last large size available. In short I got humiliated by the manager. The manager kept making up stories and told me they just recently changed their policy because there has been a lot of theaft happening. And the African American employee who told me that I could return apparently got terminated for stealing. Seriously that is not my problem It clearly shows that their policy is all screwed up and have no idea how to manage or run a business. Clearly they don’t know how to build good relationship with their customers or their employees as it seems like anyone with brown skin Is trying to steal from their store. They have lost a valuable customer and I told them that I or my friends or family will never shop there again. This place deserves to run out of business. And I pray they do. There is no place for discrimination.
If you’re looking for affordable, cute clothes to last you one season, this store is the place for you. If you’re looking for quality and excellent customer service...or...ANY customer service, this store is NOT the place for you. I was in the Southcenter store with my teenage daughter this weekend. We had a jacket in hand and I told my daughter to just try it on real quick. We’ve done this plenty of times in many other stores. I’m a grown woman and have done this more times than I can count during my lifetime. It was a jacket. Over her clothes. But for some reason, the young woman working comes over to us and, without any greeting or offer to help in any way, tells us “You need to go to the dressing room.” I looked at her stunned and asked, “For the jacket?”, but she was already walking away. She shook her head and rolled her eyes and barked out “Yeah, this is NOT the place to do that.” We had a jacket in hand. We were going to buy said jacket. We did not. We left the store and were appalled at what just happened. We spent the next 30 minutes walking around the mall talking about what we SHOULD have said or what I SHOULD have done or wanted to do as the mom. She was absolutely rude and condescending. No “Hi”, no “Excuse me” or “Can I help you?” I don’t think this young lady realized she was speaking to a mom and a daughter I’m small and look very young for my age. I don’t think this young lady realized she was speaking to a professional and someone with years of sales and customer service experience. I don’t think this young lady realized she lost the company a sale. I don’t think she cares. Reading some of the other reviews, I don’t think the manager or the company cares, either. Save your money and the energy you might waste in getting upset from the way you have a good chance of being treated here and shop elsewhere.
The two ladies in this store followed me around like I was going to steal something! I was looking at a top and put it back on the rack. The lady asked me where the shirt was when I was walking around?! I went to the fitting room with a friend and we were talking to each other from our rooms and the lady yelled that there could only be one person in the room. I stuck my head put and so she could see we were in our own rooms she clearly saw we were in separate rooms and there was only two of us. She continued to argue there was a third person ? This store is veryyyy uncomfortable to shop at. I was lost prevention for a clothing store in Southcenter years ago. I was shopping with my 7 month old son not doing anything out of the ordinary. I felt very offended with the acusasions. I will not shop at this store anymore. After all there is about 4 or 5 other stores in Southcenter with the exact same clothes.
I was just at the location in Tacoma mall and not only was the staff very polite but that store had AMAZING clothing with great prices. I got this most amazing purple furr coat for $25!!! I will definitely be back!
I was helping my mom zip up here dress. The worker kept on telling me to get put cuz they only allow 1 person in a fitting room, even though there was a large amount of space I tried to explain but she just kept telling me to get out. I didn't like the way she handled the situation of hope I have a better experience next time.
Imagine during Covid you are not allowed to try on clothing and you are not allowed to return it as well. I totally get the dressing rooms being closed but why isn't returns allowed. Needless to say I didn't buy anything anymote...
Just came from Vancouver Canada shopping with some family members this store is so dirty lots of a lot of the clothing have stains on it when only one person working cashier lots of their hangers needs to be replaced want to grab one I can see lots of dust I don't recommend this with you anyone love culture store needs a makeover close business for a couple days clean up also I can see mouse droppings this is my first store in the mall
I've always had good experiences at this location, staff is friendly and gives you room to shop.
