I was favorably impressed. The shelves were orderly and the assistance provided by Stephen in Lighting and Andrew in Lumber was excellent! Each one patiently let me ask all my questions and even helped me select the best products for what I was looking for. They had a great display for the Trex decking. Keep it up!
This location does not carry propane even though the online site shows items in stock. Employees were helpful though.
The customer service at this Lowe’s is absolutely awful. The staff make no effort to help with even the simplest tasks. We went in to pay an online invoice which we were told should be easy. The customer service desk told me “I don’t know what that is, or how to do it, and I have no idea who can help you”. We were considering spending ~$15,000 on a Lowe’s kitchen but this abysmal service is going to force to go elsewhere.
EDIT: 8/11/23 - it's been a week since I posted this review and we still haven't even received our refund. And yes we've been calling that customer service number below. No follow through and no customer service of any kind. Worst experience ever. --- We ordered a washer dryer from this Lowe's. First time it arrived dented and we sent it back for a replacement. We were told we would be getting a call to schedule delivery of the replacement. No one ever called. We had to keep calling and they would just shunt us to the warehouse who would send us back to the store. We had to show up almost everyday until someone gave us a delivery date. Mind you, this was after a week of standing there until someone talked to you. As if this wasn't awful enough already, the replacement never showed up that day with everyone blaming each other as to what happened. We decided to just cancel that order and place a new one that could be delivered in 3 days. The new unit shows up and the team just refuses to install it. We had measured the unit to make sure it would fit but this team refused to carry the unit downstairs over the 4 steps where they would have had to tilt the unit SLIGHTLY to get it down to the basement. This was after their previous team had told us that that stretch of low clearance wouldn't be a problem. They took the unit back and now we are trying to cancel the order, which will apparently take another 24 hours before someone calls us back to actually cancel the order. Terrible experience. They don't actually care about providing a service or about their customers in general. Do not recommend! We will definitely be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau.
Returning various purchases that weren't needed this morning various items weren't found on our four cards or on receipts. Two employees at the service desk came up with two different dollar amounts that varied by over 100 dollars. Donna was extremely helpful as your system booted her out four times. The manager Kong showed up and came out with a different dollar amount. When inquired about store credit as the huge sign in back of him offered customers, he said it had been changed and no longer available. When I asked for a written copy of the policy which that huge sign said I was able to obtain at the service desk Kong told me he didn't have one. Poor customer service to not go by your store policy sign.
Trying to buy wire and breakers, I need employee to unlock cage. Press help button to summon employee. Wait a minute. No one comes, press button again continue waiting. 5 minutes pass. I go and find an employee, ask if they can help me get my wire and breakers. They instead use the PA to summon someone to help. No one comes, find another employee and he tellsme any employee can open the cage and he's busy. 15 minutes in stote no help. I'll never come back to this store.
I ordered a small item online on tax free weekend. I was a bit puzzled why tax is still being applied. Had trouble dropping them a message asking about tax. I eventually picked up the item from the store and asked about the tax. The clerk looked at the screen and responded: “there is no state tax, but Lowe is charging the tax”. I asked him to please explain and if Lowe is pocketing the tax… We waited a few minutes for a supervisor and he couldn’t explain Lowe tax. He left to get someone else. I waited a few more minutes and decided the small tax I paid is worth the story that I can share. I left wondering where does the sales tax goes in this case… 8/22: problem resolved without calling. Adding 1 star. Not being able to find ways to communicate the problem was an issue. So leaving at 4 stars.
12 years contractor here. This review is not just for today’s experience it’s for a accumulation of bad customer service with this store in particular. I asked if they could price match Home Depot and instead of a simple yes or no answerseveral minutes of cashier going back and forth with management I was told that if HD has a better price why don’t I just go there, which I am. Brian, run your department better. See you never Lowes!
I feel people need to know how the employees at Lowe’s act!!! I am a disabled veteran with disabled veteran plates on my car. I can legally park in a handicap spot because they are handicap plates, I am handicapped the VA, my doctor, and Mass RMV medical affairs, had determined that so I didn’t realize I’d have to explain myself to a Lowe’s associate. I was exiting my car to go inside Lowes when Maria an employee of Lowes accused me of parking illegally and told me I need to move my car. I informed her that I had handicap plates and she is welcome to look at them seeing she was right near my car. She never looked she just told me I wasn’t handicapped laughed at me and walked away. I reached out to customer relations but no reply. It’s apparent Lowe’s does not care or respect their customers. especially disabled ones, they think it’s funny.
Do not purchase a dishwasher or rely on Lowe's to coordinate any kind of installation if you purchase a product from them. We purchased a dishwasher in February and they still are not able to install it for us yet. Unreal! The installer went to the store to pickup our dishwasher and it was no where to be found, then the installation date was cancelled twice due to no plumber available. We took 2 days off from work to have this installed. The store manager won't even call us to try to arrange a resolution. We now have a dishwasher not a small $ purchase, paid for and installation paid for with no date for installation! 4 months is ridiculous! And even worse, no one seems to think this urgent or will call us back. Terrible. Do NOT purchase an appliance from Lowe's.
