I ordered over $5000 of appliances. The dishwasher was delivered defective. No one ever answers the phone at the store. I literally had to drive to the store to get the defective dishwasher scheduled for picked up. I spoke to the Manager about the phone issue. She said it would be addressed. On that day, 4 associates were standing in the customer service area while the phone was ringing. Not one answered it and there were no customers being waited on!! Two days later, they schedule a pick up but went to the wrong address even though it should’ve been the same address the appliances were delivered to in the first place!!! . Now I have to contact the store again! Guess what ? NO ONE answers the phone!!! Sooooo frustrating.
Excellent selection of flowers, shrubs, and plants. They were getting low on mulch and they only had a few bags left of a particular sized stones. Two of the bags had holes ripped in them, so at the check out the cashier charged half off and said it was store policy to do so. HALF OFF, little rip? I'm happy.
I am so very disappointed with the service I have received from the Newburgh & Poughkeepsie Lowe’s location. My daughter bought me a much needed cabinet for my birthday on 6/24/2023. She paid for assembly & delivery. As of today 7 8/2023 I’ve yet to receive my cabinet. They have rescheduled 4 times without notifying us at any time. I’ve been made promises of a manager calling me back but no one has. I’ve made various calls and even wrote an email, but have received no response. Every time I call I’m on hold for almost an hour. This has been very frustrating. I never expected this kind of service from such a well known store and am greatly disappointed. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
Purchased a patio furniture set from the Poughkeepsie NY location, Hyacinth assisted us in making the purchase. She was wonderful and extremely helpful. Dave retrieved the set and helped get the delivery process moving. Great service from them both!!
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Worst company I've ever dealt with by far! They take your money and don't deliver the product. I went to the Lowes in Poughkeepsie, NY Store # 0541purchased a lawnmower which was scheduled for delivery 5 days out. That day came and went. No mower. I got a call saying we have your mower but don’t feel comfortable putting it on the flat bed because it might get damaged. We'll deliver it to you next day in a box truck. I said OKAY. The next day came and went, no delivery. I called the store and was on hold for 2 hours. Hung up on multiple times. The front-end associate Kendra who I’ve dealt with before picked up the phone and forgot to put me back on hold. I could hear the entire front-end conversation and told the other associate not to answer me as I was yelling "Hello" into the phone. They then put me back on hold, so I drove to the store while remaining on hold. Was lied to about my lawnmower being in stock. They said it wasn’t at the store and they didn’t know where it was. Turns out they sold me an out-of-stock item and lied to me about it. I was told it was in a crate at the store. Then I was told they didn’t want to damage it on the flat bed. It wasn’t until I said I'll pick it up that the truth came out. The lies from this company are unbelievable. I canceled my order and ordered a different mower from the Newburgh, NY store. Online it said ready in 3 hours. 3 hours came and went. I called and again was placed on hold for over 2 hours! Why have phones if you don’t answer them? I called corporate and after 15min got a hold of someone. The great lengths you have to go through to get merchandise from this company is not worth it. I will be a going to Home Depot from now on!
I want to thank “Randy & Rodney” for there Excellente Customer service I’m deeply thankful , they have gone above and beyond for me to complete my home project . I give them a 10 +++ stars if I could . Thanks so much , you guys rock will always come back to them in my near future projects God Bless.
One star for items found. One item didnt show scanned and clerk came to help, in the middle.of helping left us to check out a customer who just walked up to the register. We waited. Checked out asking for military discount. Clerk asked us to put in a phone number which we didn't sign up for. The clerk said she couldn't help us. Even with my husband's military card. No assistance on how to either. Competitor down the block was able to sign us up at the register. Decided to just finish purchase and leave. Well, after putting in the credit card, the machine shut down. Waited for the clerk TO FINISH DRAWING ON HER ARM! Told the clerk to keep the items except 4 number stickers. Had to check out at a different machine. NEVER WILL GO BACK. BIG MISTAKE. Who hires these people? Don't blame it on Covid either. There are plenty of quality people looking for a job. Why didn't we just go to Home Depot. Learned my lesson.
Worst experience ever. From store staff who do not know how to use their own computer software, to having to wait additional weeks for a product that I saw was in stock with my own eyes, to torturing the installer, to overcharging me and then ignoring me when I asked for a refund to correct the error, this was epic incompetence. Never go here.
The store is very clean. However, the employees are always on their phones playing or having private conversations. Yesterday I was rung up by a cashier in the garden center who was LITERALLY having a loud FaceTime conversation someone about their favorite take out restaurants. My wife had to make a return and had to wait for clerk to finish a private call talking about nail salons. I guess it’s a generational thing.
We all know when you look online, it shows something in stock in the store and when you get there, it's NOT in Stock. So I called the decking dept to see what they have in stock. Decking never answered however woman at the customer service counter answered. Every question I asked, she either gave me incorrect information or told me to check on line. Why answer the phone if you cannot do your job? We wonder why our jobs are being replaced by machines...
