I was shopping with my family, we were mostly checking out and comparing prices to other similar local discount stores. We did not find the specific items we were interested in purchasing and the prices seemed a bit higher in comparison to other stores we usually shop at. Overall, Lowe's has quite a variety of products and they specialize in home remodeling and back yard/front yard improvement projects and that's not what we were shopping for. Nicely stocked, well -organized and clean store, friendly employees. Will definitely shop there another time, when we need items or materials for a home improvement and/or a front or back yard landscape re-design.
I had to drop my stuff and leave. They had what I needed, nobody could get it for me on a forklift, as a local builder and handyman, how can they never be available unless it's on the shelf. Every time. If you want any help here, beware, associates seem to know when someone needs help and run from them down aisles to hide. It's horrible. Way worse than HD. Save yourself and shop elsewhere. They won't even answer a phone.
Terrible customer service. My wife went into the store to buy 3 pallets of retaining wall blocks to be delivered to our house & they charged her for 1 pallet but 3 pallet fees. So, I had to go in and buy the other 2 pallets of blocks. They said they would be delivered in 4 days. Its been 2 weeks and we haven’t received our delivery! They have given us multiple unlikely excuses why they can’t deliver. They are very unhelpful and are not trustworthy.
I would rate this store Zero stars if possible. I placed an online order for same day pickup. Unfortunately the store has delayed the order of two items for several days and I’ve been hung up from the store before even reaching an associate to speak with. Poor customer service. I do not recommend ordering/purchasing items for pickup. -Curbside Pickup is super helpful for parents who have young children. It is really difficult and time consuming for parents to walk in to the store with infants for one item.
This Lowes is the worst. Customer service is horrible, when you are able to get someone on the phone they generally don't know what they're talking about or just lie to get you off the phone.. This is one of the only options that will deliver to our location so you have to try to deal with them. We've ordered from them twice for delivery, items that are too large to pickup from the store. Both times the process was an absolute nightmare. Their inventory is off, so even if it says available online, good luck. Their delivery system is an absolute mess, you can schedule a delivery day but there's about a 10% chance that you'll actually get it delivered on the scheduled day. This store is hands down the most awful retail experience you can imagine.
I came with my grandmother to buy a new dryer that was gas. The appliances manager named Robert was a huge help in ordering one to be delivered as well as explaining everything in a way my grandmother could understand. My mother had also come to pick up a fridge, but customer service didn’t have it ready. On a whim we asked Robert about that fridge and he helped us out incredibly getting it fully ready for us and loading and tying it for us in our truck. Thank you Robert!
Don’t try to get anything delivered from this Lowes, they will cancel, reschedule and push out the delivery date indefinitely. This has happened to me twice and has caused me to miss deadlines and drive hours out of my way to pick up items on site. They truly don’t care about your delivery.
What an unbelievable circus act of a store this is. I ordered three glass shower doors, around $2500. Lowes was supposed to deliver to my house. We had three failed delivery attempts. First couple times we planned on them arriving, just to find out at the last minute they weren’t coming. Then, I was assured they were coming, only to find out that The shipment arrived to the store, but they lost it. After trying to navigate getting a hold of anyone which is a nightmare a manager assured me that they were on the truck to come the next day. I planned on being there to receive the shipment. Guess what, that very day, I was told they didn’t make the truck. So their managers don’t even know what’s going on. The final kicker is that after we received our three doors eventually, my contractor picked them up to take to the job site. He unwrapped them, and all it was was glass panels. Completely missing the hardware, rails, and everything required to actually use the doors. What a complete nightmare. I have spent many thousands of dollars at Lowe’s over the past several years, and perhaps I might be done with them. I’ve read all over the news that big box home improvement stores are suffering lately. It’s a shame that with the decrease in business, they wouldn’t be exerting more effort to make sure the customer experience is a good one. If I can’t get a resolution from Lowes, it will be a dispute on the credit card. In the meantime, this has screwed up my schedule, my contractor schedule, and caused tons of headaches. My suggestion is to shop on Wayfair. It’s so much easier to get a hold of people, and their customer service actually gets things done. What do you want to bet that I get a generic reply to this review saying something like, “sorry you have had this experience. Please reach out to our customer service team…“ Guess what? I’ve already tried reaching out, and it’s a virtually impossible to get anything done dealing with Lowe’s customer service.
Waited 20 minutes for customer service to tell me my pickup order hadn’t been filled after 8 days, despite calling and Lowe’s customer service saying it was ready. Customer service at store tells me I can go pick the order myself. None of the inventory locations match what’s listed in the app. Only self check open and 2 out of 4 aren’t working. Save your time and drive into Santa Fe.
Don't bother placing online orders at this store. Because "nobody wants to work" you'll be lucky if your order is ready 2 days later. I had to go full Karen on manager who didn't want to let my on-the-clock workers fulfill the PAID order themselves. Hey Lowe's: if you can't fulfill online orders, how about you stop taking them?
